Haunting Harmonies
a poem for my Queen, Taylor Swift (@taylorswift )
~ The universe is a vast world, filled with nothing but wild dreams
But in that wide, infinite empty void of branchless woods
Lives a woman who once lived as a starry-eyed dreamer
But now turned into something even more better
She was a kaleidoscope of shades, a compilation of fragments
An iridescent star that was once only twinkling small
Turning even brighter and brighter
Until it dominated all the others in just one spark
Her heart was filled with unspoken melodies
Silently reverberating through space, stating grace
Reaching the beings who were from below
With her brightness as a gateway to her soul
She was an artist, that carved words into symphonies
Drawing abstract ideas into haunting harmonies
That bounces inside your mind, replaying over and over again
Because the lines that she draw was that addicting
But as time pass, her brightness casted shadows into her own world
Gunshots fly across the sky, trying to reach the beautiful bright star
Because it seems that people have nothing else to do
Trying to poison her sweet mixture into something she's not
She was broken, and to mend herself, she sought out for love
Trying to find the person that'd side with her whatever may happen
She sought high and low, in the skies, and in the ground below
But instead of helping her, they shattered her even more and that was the moment she knew
She was shadowed by the thoughts of others
And when the reality of herself tries to break free,
Someone just comes back and stops it with black lies
Lies that never helped anyone, not even themselves
So she fell, but her heart still hums the same old song
Her echoes vibrating across the distance of time, reaching whoever might be listening
ome people despised her, throwing rocks into her way, just wishing she'd disappear
Some people loved her, trying to brush off the rocks, adoring her in every way
Some people broke her; and some people mend her back again
And she was torn between sides that should have never existed in the first place
She was broken, but as time passes, her shards fixed themselves
And she slowly became a wholesome mirror as she once was
She reflected the bullets that was sent to her way
And her heartbeat remained steady, beating louder to be heard by those from far away
Her melodies cried the story of the past and of the future
And all dark shocks people send to her was broken by one big surprise
She was once a beautiful rose but now she's a strong tree
She was once drowning, but now she's breathing finally
She was caged, her darkened reputation was demolished
Because now she's set free, thanks to her haunting harmonies ~

@taylorswift I am completely assured that you probably wouldn't notice my post. But this is my tribute for Reputation. First of all, thank you for being such an inspiration to us, Swifties. In my everyday life, you've been an inspiration to my studies and my dreams. You are a special role model of mine and your songs was the starting point of my poems. I've made poems about you and your songs ever since I became a Swiftie and I compiled them into one poem, to become my tribute to your wonderful Reputation album. I never treated you as a superstar, because I treated you as a sister, a teacher, and a best friend that had helped each and every Swiftie alive. Keep going Queen TayTay, me and every Swiftie in the world is here for you, watching you, and caring for you. I wanted to send this to you because I'd like to let you know that even if you don't have time to appreciate each and every fan you have, we still appreciate you...
Stay beautiful, Taylor ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜˜
Love, Gwyneth (an inspired Swiftie who adores you very much)
