it was april fools day and oikawa thought it’d be funny if the vb boys ignored their sweet little manager

he rounded up the boys that morning and somehow managed to convince them to follow the plan

so they ignored you throughout the whole day and even during practice

you worried that maybe you had done something to upset the boys

you tried talking to them saying, “im sorry, i don’t know what i did but can we talk it out? please?”

when they saw how upset and apologetic you looked, they felt GUILTY. iwa felt it the most and he’s ready to come clean until-

“um, oikawa senpai you did really great! but don’t overwork yourself okay?”

oikawa lets out a huff and looks away from you

it feels hostile, like a jab to your chest but you don’t even know what it is or why

you start tearing up, and iwa is quick to have you in his arms

the rest of the team drops the act in an instant and they start apologizing to you

“y/n-chan, i’m sorry i didn’t mean to go this-”

“shut up shittykawa! i warned you about this! but you kept insisting!”

when coach realizes what’s happening he’ll make the boys spend the rest of practice doing laps while you rest on the bench

“didn’t i tell you boys to look after your manager? and what did you do?”

after practice they’ll treat you out to your favorite dinner🥺 they make sure there’s less banter between them just for YOU

you’ll reassure them that everything’s fine but they’ll still feel guilty

they spend the rest of the week being extra nice to you
