I was reading back to enjoy some elite ACOMAF and ACOWAR Nessian and I have to say the entire thing is so so funny with the context that Cassian has known Nesta is his mate the whole time.

Rhys met her unreadable stare with one of his own. “You do not do well when you feel caged in.”

“The time to realize that was a year ago,” Nesta spat.

“I know you think I am power hungry and cruel.” He said and Nesta did not deny it. “That I scream and throw the weight of my power around for selfish gain. And you are not wrong.” He shrugged. Rhysand had never once hidden what he was. Neither had Nesta. Perhaps it was why they were in a constant, silent battle. “I have my reasons for what I do.”

“If you pick a piece of invisible lint off your collar and try to say we aren’t so different I will slice your arm off.”

Happy Lunar New Year, @princessxgarbage ! I went for Modern AU, hehe. Hope you enjoy my rambling aka idea behind this art below!

Shisui is rebelling his rich conservative family. The first step of his rebellion (aside from dropping out of business school) is getting a tattoo.

His tattoo artist Sakura is a pure mess embodied in a pretty women's body: broke af but still buys new clothing instead of doing laundry, lucky enough to keep bumping into her exes in a 15 mil megapolis and her cat left her for the neighbours.

Shisui doesn't miss the opportunity to piss his fam even more by bringing Sakura to the fanciest occasion (she was promised unlimited shrimp&bubbles). Mini dress showing (almost) all of her tattoos, botomless champagne that she is definitely not shy to indulge and Sakura's no filter whatsoever when it comes to conversations – a perfect recipe for grandpa Uchiha's heart attack.

But of course it doesn't stop after one night.

I know gwynriels and eluciens want the next acotar book to be about one of these ships (I do too) but wouldn’t it be funny if Nesta got another book? Like I’d be high key into it—especially because of the role she played in HOFAS 😩
