Multiverse: Re-do 3D Response posters
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wanted to complete my 3D outcome posters again as with my first poster I added to much graphics and filters, when analysing the poster you could not really see the garment all that well! So I decided to create 2 posters this time round, One which includes no filters, just very minimal to project the garment a lot more. Then another poster still clearly showing the garment, but just offing some stylish filters to the background. Over all this was tough, the process for making this completely blanked my mind, as i’m not usually working with materials. As I was making it I collected more and more artist artist research along the way, which make the process a lot less stressful and I had a solid image in my head of what I wanted to eventually create. It was a very educational process swell as creative, because without doing this I would not have known about the importance of up cycling garments, and then researching up cycling, and also find out the reality of fast fashion.

Community 3 submissions
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are my 3 submissions for the community project. I decided to go for 2 more natural submissions, with the woods in the background and minimal editing, then 1 submissions with intense lighting which makes the whole photo stand out a lot more that the other two submissions. With that post I decided to submit it as, the hands can represent people dragging her into this community she's forced to be apart off which is far from what she wants to be apart of, I have sort of created a persona for this individual photo as I believe it screams the negativity about community, as for being apart of something u never wanted to be apart of. The other two submissions were taken on the same photoshoot, and it gives a lot more of a lighter aspect to the theme of community, as I have taken these photo in my community, of people who are in my own community, who i’m most comfortable around and people where I can be myself. They are my own little community, as they had to be included in this project as It wouldn’t be truthful without them in it.

Multiverse: Upcycled fashion final poster outcome
Tumblr media
This is my final outcome for my upcycled garment outcome. I created my garment using unused jeans and zebra material that hadn’t been used, plus some paint to add more colour and vibrancy to the piece. For my final outcome i belive i could have added so more material to the v neck, maybe some lace now that i look at it, but i’m satisfied with how it turned out. I’m not experienced with this type of media at all so i knew it would not be an easy aspect to the project, but i’ve definitely gained knowledge from this experience and would 100% do it all again for another project, to let my experience from this one to create an even better garment.

Multiverse: Last poster designs
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Above are my final designs fro my Multiverse posters, all in all there is no design that I have created that I have disliked. I feel as if every single poster is telling a story within different elements of the multiverse, also I believe that not one poster has a similar aspect about it, so it creates different realities and perspectives for what the multiverse actually is. Which is the idea what I wanted to put across, no one knows exactly what the multiverse consists of, or even if it is a real concept. But by having so many different varieties of designs, and colour palettes, and editing, it creates many different outcomes fro a multiverse, letting the audience choose what they want to believe their  multiverse looks like.

Multiverse : Mood board Inspiration for last set of poster designs
This is my inspiration found on Pinterest from my last set of Posters inspired by Multiverse. I didn't exactly use each piece of inspiration in the end as some dynamics did not turn out the way I was expecting, but just to have that initial idea brought out more ideas, for the future posters. In this set of posters I made sure that at least one of them was just fully fashion based presenting a whole outfit in some kind of edit, with multiverse aspects added to it, by adding to filters.

Multiverse -  Poster GIFs
Here are my GIFs created on Adobe photoshop, relating to the theme of Multiverse. I created these using my current favourite poster outcomes. I have created a screen recording this post showing every single step, aspect and tool with what I used to complete these GIFS. As a whole I thought it was a very simple and easily learnt process, which I will definitely be taking on fro future projects. Instead of doing about 10 frames, I pushed myself a bit more and made my self a target of at least 16 frames per gif. As they were so easy to make it did not take up too much time, so I created multiple gives. My favourite outcome was probably the Lip Poster. As there was a lot more text and then filters on the lips so its just equal to more experimentation.

I created these GIF’s on Photoshop. To create them I done the process of Windows<Timeline<Make Frames from Layers< then you choose a set time for each frame, Export< Save For Web

Multiverse: First poster designs inspiration
Here is my collage created by pieces that inspired my first poster designs. I found these pieces on Pinterest, I did not want to copy the pieces exactly, but they were just the first initial bits of inspiration, taking parts from methods, like liquifying, to taking similar colour palettes. I will probably come across more artists and ideas through out the week so my ideas could broaden and my posters might be completely different by Friday, but right now this is the theme that im going for, more portraiture route, with intense colour palettes and heavily edited, to make it as unrealistic as possible to pursue the Multiverse them to the best of my ability.

MultiVerse: First poster designs
Here are my first drafts of my posters that I might be submitting for the project. The theme is Multiverse, which I believe to be a parallel universe, where everything is completely the opposite, metaphorically upside down. I have tried to incorporate that matter into each and every single one of my edits. To create these posters I have used images from past photoshoots and edits that I have completed during this project. With every sable poster there isn't any photo from another poster, they are all original which contains different imagery. I feel like i usually incorporate a more darker side to these projects, and I have 100% done it again for this project, as it includes a lot of dark reds and darker tones, but for a difference I added some landscape photography, editing the ground a completely different colour, to create the illusion that you are in the Multiverse.

Community : re-do eye edit
Tumblr media
Here is a much better outcome of my eye edit that I completed at the start of the project. Before It was heavily edited and contained too much liquifying and filters. The reason for this competition is to show off photography skills, and at the start I did not take that into consideration. Too make the edit a lot more simple I took the photos of my friends eyes, and just placed them in correspondent to the person who had the most similar eye to them. This piece, shows of a lot more photography, because, you can see the reflection in there eyes showing how focused and how good the camera quality was. This photo is very close to my heart as they are of my friends back in my home town who I see very rarely, even less due to recent restrictions, so making this edit really brought me closer to them, and it reminded me of my old community and being surrounded but them each and everyday

Community  : Minimal edit photos
For the community project, I have currently been creating heavily edited pieces to maybe be submitted, but then I realised its a photography competition and the judges won't be impressed by heavily edited and filtered images. So I decided to get some of my unused photography and lightly edit them, and they have became my favourite outcomes for this project so far. There minimal yet effective, you can see the actual quality of the photo instead of, highly contrasted over the top images. These relate to the them of community as I was taking photos of my friends who are my community and who I feel most comfortable around. Also the setting is based outside in the woods that included into my local community.

Multiverse: Fashion Edits
During this project I have been focusing more on the portraiture side in photography by capturing my face. I thought so I can have a wide range of work this project, to do some fashion edits, including my clothing. They couldn't just be random, they have to be inspired by the theme of multiverse. So I decided to incorporate the Multiverse through the editing and backgrounds of each of these pieces. I have included liquified backgrounds, bright colours, and distorted edits. They are all very heavily edited so an audience can get attached to the idea, that I have included multiverse in these edits, through making them very artificial. I cut my face out in each of these pieces, because I didn't want it to be realistic, I wanted to give the idea that im some sort of robot or odd creature that lives in my Multiverse, and by cutting my face out projects that idea very clearly.

Multiverse: Nicolas Ghesquière inspired final touches to Upcycled garment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Above is my finished up cycled garment. I have now added the final detail which was inspired by the bright colours and atmosphere from the designs of French designer Nicolas Ghesquière. Before adding the paint I believed for my garment to be as I would say boring, It had no life to it, just bland black, with only a small section of the zebra print for the shoulder strap. By adding the paint it gives more personality to the garment which makes it more wearable and not to be wasted. This can highly br represented by the theme of the project ‘ Multiverse’, as all the colours put together remind me of some sort of glitch or distortment, in the garment, which is highly attachable to the Multiverse.

Multiverse:Nicolas Ghesquière research. Inspiration for upcycled garment continuons.
Nicolas Ghesquière is a French fashion designer, who has made himself very known in the modern fashion industry, who is the creative director of the house of Louis Vuitton since 2013. I will not be taking inspiration by his materials he incorporates in his designed pieces, but yet the bright colours he decides to add to a lot of his garments. They are very bright and light up the room whenever seen on the runway. I will be incorporating these similar bright colours by adding stripes of bright paint down the front of the garment.
