6:10 -- Dinner w/Sue & Mare.

7 -- Virtual jazz piano workshop w Shannon. Autumn Leaves. 2-note voicings, chord tone exercise.

11 -- Buy ear plugs at Kinney Drugs, 7th North Street.

Bendering. Prepping for Luke lesson.

3 AM -- Updating diary.

Mick & Mare return from Mick's colonoscopy. 5 polyps. One large. Mick freaked, lashing out.

3 -- 5:30 PM -- DD w/Big Ern. Maria bartending. Chat w/Eden. What else do you do, I ask. I'm a wrestler, she says. Tip 20 on stage. Boots stink? Smoking Backwoods Honey Bourbon. 2 cocktails. Feeling it.

6 -- Dinner. Mick being atrocious. Blaming us. Talked me out of colonoscopy. Exchange words. Went Nuclear. "You motherfucker..."

Packs a bag and leaves. Schlem chat. Neighborhood walk.

Late night Schlem again. Up all night.

6:30 AM -- Sleep

12:40 -- Headed to FlynnStoned. Gummies for Skye. On phone w/Shiner. Find venue to try the duo thing, a la Hays/Stewart.

2 ish -- Deliver to Skye. Chat outside. Looking fine. Arm/hand in cast.

Quick DD. Tequila cocktail. Lily behind the bar. Khaos in the kitchen.

3 -- Departure. Mare calls. Mick's car stolen from driveway. Holy shit.

Quick stop. Old Liverpool liquors. 200 ml Dusse bottle.

3:20 -- in the kitchen w/the cops. Young cop nice, smart, talkative. Kids taking cars for joyrides. "When we find them the parents yell at us."

5 -- Boyle Center set up. Domin's pizza, 2 slices.

5:30 hit. Arms feeling good.

Another slice, post gig.

Prison City. Two 8 oz hazy IPAs.

More pizza at home. Mare's storebought pie. Good.

Daylight savings time. Lost hour. Up late last night. Looking at website. Wasting time. Not bendering.

2:40 PM -- Rehearsal, Matt's. Going overing Ceclia's tunes for Johnson City concert. Excellent writing. Jennifer in kitchen making chocolate chip cookies. Ask for a little dough. So good.

6:10 PM -- Dinner. Beans & greens, salad. Eating light. Peanut butter ball cookie earlier.

Evening loafing, mild bendering. Call Godaddy. Adding "Buy The Album" button to site.

12 AM -- Practicing, Another You solo. Left hand shells, reharm, etc.

1 AM -- Late night Schlem chat

10 AM -- Moses lesson. Trying to focus.

10:30 -- Vung. Taylor Swift Love Story. Has iPad. Looking at YouTube tutorial.

11 -- Reeva. Ode To Joy

11:30 -- Remi. Focus. Hanon number to top of piano. $1 for you.

12:15-- Michael. Fingering on Mans Desiring Bach piece. Hanon tempo. Slow.

4 PM -- Impostors for to Lexi's B'day party. Not me.

Eating Goldfish crackers. Too many carbs.

Mare brings back food. Large prime rib piece, mac & cheese. Excellent.

Late night Schlem. City drive. East Syracuse. Will Pete text tomorrow re lessons. No Sammy. Don't care, but maybe adds to sense of doom, gloom.

Afternoon bendering, hard. Right up till 5 ish. Feeling the rush.

Getting dressed. Can of tuna fish.

6 -- Sit down. Few forkfuls cheese tortellini w/jar sauce. Matt arrives. Says hello.

Drive to Sammy's. Nervous. Inside. Two quick cocktails. Small pours. Malfitano shakes my hand, congratulates. Jeff Jones, hello, small chat. Still rocking the flip phone? Yup.

Standing in back. Names read. Lose. Relieved, no speech needed.

Bored. Walk to Chadwick's for cocktail. $12 Hennessy. Shit pour.

9 - something. Home. Back to the bender. No Schlem

Warm & beautiful outside. Summertime and the living is easy. emailing, scheduling Corn Hill students. Corresponding w/drum teacher Stu Pray. Suggestions for getting students.

Ern wants KC outside. I can't. Could go at 4:15. Not enough time.

7:30 -- Duo rehearsal at Matt's. Upstairs on the piano. Whole rehearsal spent on What Is That? Listening to Elew Hopscotch for inspiration. Adding hits, hook line.

6:15 -- Home. Mare's chicken thighs for dinner. Drinking my sweet free bottle, sweet riesling.
