peanut butter is the best way to catch mice but i wonder if you need the kind with sugar in it for it to work. that fancy peanut butter is definitely just salt and peanuts. i keep two kinds of peanut butter at my house one for mouse catching (with sugar) and one for eating (without)

#mostly because i imagine the mouse peanut butter method was developed by americans #bc british people do not eat peanut butter to the same extent #cue paul hollywood being baffled by peanut butter and banana and peanut butter and strawberry as flavor combinations #and you know most of our peanut butter is full of sugar and if you want it without it costs more money #i actually don’t have mice anymore bc i have a cat again #but i had a really bad infestation #actually the thing that really got rid of the mice was acid setting my toaster oven on fire #i literally smoked them out and there was only a little bit of fire damage so win win
