A friend told me once that the definition of true love is the amalgamation of trust, understanding, respect and loyalty between two persons. And I believe that couldn't be more true than in a marriage - where those 4 attributes are constantly tested. Trust, for one, encompases so many aspects in a married life. Decision making, a challenge. Trust that he can do the laundry perfectly? Good question. Trust that she can cook a dinner without burning it? Another valid concern. Can he even shoot a nice angle for your IG pics? Might be silly but still a thing. One thing I learned, trusting God first that He'll provide the right thing ( or person ) for you and trusting people will be so much easier to handle. 6th week. And no. Thats not a pregnancy countdown..🤣🤣🤣 ___ Since my last post, nothing really happened except that its really feelin' like fall here. I cant go anywhere because of classes and stuff but went to a nearby park just to shoot this. ___ Ive been soo busy with cert studies but ive also been tching to make something out of this fabric. 5th week. I can eat normal now, but still insist on eating no red meat for now.:) . The fire place season has now started and its so cozy to just stay wrapped up in thick blankets. Thankful that its still work from home for hubby and my classes are all virtual. 👍🤤 . Also had virtual wedding last saturday early morning. Like 3am in the morning but ive been awake since 6pm the night before and now my sleep is all messed up again..🤤😯😭 its fine though, it was a dear friend's wedding and I didnt want to miss it so . 😯 . I dont know when Ill start feeling this free and careless and happy again, but once again, I never thought Ill be going thru this kind of surgery so early on in my life. Living with one less organ inside me is still something I need to learn to accept. Some people take it hard I guess. Please be sensitive to other peoples feeling. Its hard enough to go thru this but dealing with people who make fun of it is worse than being poked if needles several times. For those asking, Im feeling physically ok now. This is officially my 2nd week post surgery and so far I havent felt the pain again. I want to exercise though, move around alot but the restriction is still there. Thank you so much for all your prayers. .. For those who dont know, Im writing it here so I could remember it in future and remind myseld how good my God is. .. Friday, Sept 11, 2020 1am. I was about to got bed when I suddenly feel nauceous. I sat up and on bed and without much control, I just started vomitting. At first I thought it was my gastritis attack but vomitting kept on going until 1pm. . Friday, 1pm. Still thinking it was gastritis, the hubz brought me to Urgent Care were they dozed me with pain meds to no avail. Pain was still there and the vomitting continued. . Friday 4pm, it was decided we head straight to ER. After a few minutes of waiting, I was admitted and testing began. Doctor concluded it was inflammed gallbladder and it has to undergo surgery immediately. . Sat, Sept 12, 2020 around 830 am. Surgery began. They did laparosocopy (which is a type of gallbladder surgery where they only make 4 small incison and not one large open one) on me and it did the job successfully. I thank the Lord for that. . All throughout the day after surgery, I was all drowsy because of the anesthesia in my system but thankfully the pain has subsided a great deal. Got discharged, Sunday afternoon. Im at home recovering now and I cant help but get emotional at how quickly God showed us His hand and leading throughout this whole ordeal. I know without the brethren's prayers on us, we couldnt have gone thru this with calm assurance that He will lead us through. I thank God also for the strength and wisdom he showed on my husband. I know he was more stressed than ever and I wouldnt be able to survive without him. For someone who considers that all our body organs have God-given role in the body, parting with one of your organs can be a great ordeal as well. It's something Im still processing right now. As health conscious as one could be, God has given us a wake up call that not everything is under our control. Its still devastating to know that I have no gallbladder now. But He knows best. As my SiL pointed out, good thing all these happened before we try to conceive, otherwise there might be more complications later on. . I thank God for His perfect timing. After being declined to preserve the property by a couple of organizations, It's just interesting to know how this site has been restored and preserved as it is now. ... On this very porch, Thomas Cole viewed and appreciated the beautiful landscapes of Catskill and the nature surrounding it. Indeed, gazing at the greenery as far as my eyes could see and seeing the soft outlines of the mountains far over yonder, no wonder artists and travellers alike from all over the world travel to this place to relax, unwind and be inspired once again. 😀🥰😀 ... So much has happened in the world this past 8 months. .. And I cant believe I just experienced my first power outage in New Jersey! 😯😀 Although I find it hilarious because I though power outages here are easily solved (less than a day perhaps?) But 2 days of no power made me want to scream 'thank you!!' to the giver of electricity 😀😏😀😏 Cant imagine life without it now.. ❤ .. However, life with no power still have its good side. For once, I was able to just sit still and read a book without clamouring for my phone or computer. With no interruption of a tv set or any other gadgets. I havent done that in a while and it made me realize what reading can do for my well being. .. Lesson? We should learn to be able to cope up with either side of the coin.
