Social Media for News
Social media has expanded so much throughout the years and has become part of our daily lives for most of us. It consumes our lives so much that millennials are now using social media to catch up on the news. We watch it, read it, post it, and discuss our thoughts online. They no longer want to take the time to watch the news on television, read the newspaper, or read an online article. You can find everything that’s going on in the world on Facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc. When users log into their social media accounts, they not only update themselves with the news, but they can also see what else is happening in their friends, relatives, family, etc lives. I think it’s interesting to see various different people online looking for specific information. Such as the latest news updates, what your old friend is up to, where’s the nicest restaurant located, etc.. You can basically read and share whatever you would like.
