Isnotrael is a pseudo-democratic oligarchy akin to the US. When the US government makes horrifying decisions, we collectively agree not to blame Americans because regardless of how we vote we don't get a say. When Russia declared war on Ukraine and started committing horrible atrocities against Ukrainians, we collectively agreed not to blame and harass Russian citizens who didn't get a say. So why is it suddenly okay to call Israeli citizens racial slurs and deny the holocaust as a punishment for what their government is doing when they didn't get a say?

There were more than 2 milion Armenians in ottoman empire prior to ww1, 1,5 milion of them were viciously killed. Three millennia of Armenian civilaziation in eastern Anatolis was fully destroyed. Turkey today refuses to acknowledge genocides of christian minorities in early 20th century.

Do you know that mass ethnic cleansing of Armenians in ottoman empire inspired Lemkin to coin the term 'genocide'?

Last year in september azerbaijan allied with turkey initiated a war against Armenia. More that 5000 Armenians were murdered, thousands of Armenia families had to live their ancestrial land to not get murdered. There are hundreds of vids on internet where armenian p.o.w.s are tortured. Recently azerbaijan opened a "museum" displayind dead or dying Armenians and kids were allowed to visit it.

The fact that I see artists who consistently draw anthro characters (with furry design sensibilities) saying stuff like “oh but I’m not a FURRY I just draw anthros” is really annoying to me. I'm gonna try to keep this brief because I already have a post about this that's gotten like 1,000 notes, I just haven't met this goal and need to soon.

I have been having seizures, and I have a GP appt to get referred to a neurologist. I have been speaking to the clinic system handling my care, and I should be put on a cancelation list as soon as my referral is received. Because of this, I ideally would have the funds for the neurologist appointment by the time they get my referral. That way if someone cancels, and they call me with an hours notice to get to that appt, I will be able to actually make the appt. Currently I need $385 for this.

I am grateful the clinic is willing to rush this appointment. They did this with my roommate last year, and it saved his life. But based on our experience with that, I am stressed about getting the money in time.
