Ibn Qudamah رحمه الله said:

“Whoever realizes that the Dunya is like ice that melts away, and that the Akhirah is like a pearl that lasts on, his interest in selling the former for the latter will become stronger.”

May Allah subhana wa ta'ala heal you in a way that leaves no trace, and if He has decided with His wisdom that you must endure the tests, may He grant you the strength, patience and wisdom to face the tests in such a way that it only will bring you closer to Him, and it will enable you to taste a bliss that you have never experienced before and that it may be your sabab to enter Al-firdaws, Allahumma Aameen.

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ

“Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

“It’s not allowed for anyone to lose hope in Allaah’s Mercy,

even if his sins are very great.”

From the supplication of Musa عليه السلام, O Allāh soften my heart with repentance & do not make my heart hard as a stone.

"يمكنك تعذيب نفسك بالقلق أو حرر نفسك بالتوكل على الله You can torture yourself with worry, or free yourself by trusting Allah.

"بعض الأشياء تكون أكثر جمالا عندما تبقى خاصة"

"Some things are more beautiful when kept private."

"أنت تعلم أن شخصا ما يعني الكثير لك عندما تشعر أن دعاءك غير مكتمل دون ذكر اسمه"

"You know someone means a lot to you when your dua's feel incomplete without mentioning their name."

إن لم تكن جراح الأمة في قلبك فأنت جراح في قلب الأمة

If the wounds of the Ummah are not felt in your heart, then you are the wound in the heart of the Ummah.

"سيرسل الله لك الشخص المناسب في حياتك وستنسى ألم من ظننت أنه على حق"

"Allah will send the right person in your life and you'll forget the pain from those who you falsely believed to be right."

مع الوقت ستعرف حكمة الله في كل ما حدث لك

With time, you will come to know the wisdom of Allah in everything that has happened to you

ستعرف أنه كان أرحم بك من نفسك

You will come to realise that He has been more merciful to you than your own self.

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Envy consumes good deeds just as fire burns wood. Charity extinguishes sinful deeds just as water extinguishes fire. Prayer is the light of the believer and fasting is his shield from the Hellfire.”

Riyad as-Salihin, The Book of the Remembrance of Allah, Book 15, Hadith 23

Chapter: The Excellence of the Remembrance of Allah

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:

One night I missed the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) from his bed. I searched for him. When I found him he was in bowing or prostrating posture and was reciting: Subhanaka wa bi hamdika. La ilaha illa Anta (You are free from imperfection and I begin praising You. There is no true god except You)."

Another narration is: My hand fell over his feet while he was in prostration with his feet erect. He was supplicating: "Allahumma inni a'udhu biridaka min sakhatika, wa bi-mu'afatika min 'uqubatika, wa a'udhu bika minka, la uhsi thana'an 'alaika, Anta kama athnaita 'ala Nafsika (O Allah! I seek protection against Your Wrath in Your Pleasure. I seek protection in Your Pardon against Your chastisement, I am not capable of enumerating praise of You. You are as You have lauded Yourself)."

Do not falter or grieve, for you will have the upper hand, if you are ˹true˺ believers.
