Meh - late posting (really out of it -_-) - COMIC JAM HAWAII Drink & Draw was the X-Men. I only managed to belt out a couple of gags:

1️⃣ Hugh Jackman returning as Logan for the upcoming Deadpool and Wolverine movie in July (Yes, the claws can’t do that- it’s a cartoon…)

2️⃣ The blue shapechanging mutant, Mystique, must get confused with other blue women characters…

I have a couple more pencilled out. Getting a little busy, so I’ll finish them when I can. ^_^;

I just realized that it has been almost five months since I last drew a comic strip on my computer! As I try to get back into it, I am noticing how rusty I have become! My lower back and hand are hurting as a result. However, it still feels good to reconnect with my drawing tablet, and it's a sign that I need to get back into the swing of things. This is especially important, given the upcoming projects I want to crank out in the next few months. 😊

Mahalo everyone who attended the Librari-con Cosplay event! It was a great turnout and a lot of fun, with cosplays from different ages. It was wonderful to see many faces that I didn't see at Kawaii Kon. The event was a big success, with over 300 people in attendance, and it seems like the library is planning to organize more events in the future! 😊 Looking back, wearing the 35-pound proton pack in ghostbusters attire while manning the table for three hours may not have been the best idea, but it was worth it. Many thanks to Amanda Lei Perron, Gail, and the rest of the staff of the Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library for organizing such an amazing event! 😊

Tonight’s COMIC JAM HAWAII Drink & Draw was @davidmackkabuki • he’s best known for the art in the comic Kabuki.

1️⃣ Mashup with Kabuki & Kikaida (dont know where i was going with this)

2️⃣ An SD form of Kabuki (shouldve went for chibi…)

3️⃣ SD Echo. David created the character and all 5 epsidoes of the miniseries will be on Disney+ on Jan 9

David will be a special guest at Hawaii Pop Con Jan 6-7 2024 at the Blaisdell Center.
