Coming Home

Abiding thus so far apart,

Yet linger ever near in heart .

I’m coming back.

Far and wide my steps may roam,

My spirit ever longs for home, 

As to the shore returns the tide.

The pull upon my soul is strong 

To be once more where I belong, 

So to the fold my steps I guide.

IN GOD WE CAN TRUST

Just wanted you to know,

I was thinking about you.

This is a challenging time,

but this too we’ll get through.

We are missing our family

and our friends as well.

We are keeping our distance

during this COVID-19 hell.

People are sick and suffering.

Many are dying or passed.

Each of our hearts breaking,

wondering how long it’ll last

When a crisis hits home,

the good in people shine.

Our heroes take many forms, 

willing to toe the line.

Reaching out to one another, 

helping anyway we can.

Some even taking selfless risks

to assist their fellow men.

Our normal may be changed, 

we’re resilient and we’ll adjust.

We’re all in this together 

In God, we can trust.

Ang Laro Ng Mga Magnanakaw

Tulad ng ibang laro,

May matatalo at mananalo,

Ang matatalo ay mamatay na bigo

Ang mananalo ay pupunta sa impyerno,

Ito ang laro ng mga politiko.

Isa lamang ang layunin nitong laro,

At iyon ay magnakaw ng mas higit sa katunggali mo,

Kung ikaw ay nasa pinakamataas na pwesto,

Higpitan mo ang hawak sa nakaw mo,

Laging nakaabang ang mundo.

Hindi ka makakatakas sa larong ito,

Tila talo ka kahit ano ang piliin mo,

Walang katahimikan kahit sa pagkapanalo,

Sa huli ang lahat ay nakasalalay sa desisyon mo

Handa ka na ba maglaro?
