Who Are We?
My name is Rodrigo Accorsi Gianini. I'm 14 years old and I'm from São José Do Rio Preto in Brazil. My hobbies are playing soccer and volleyball when I have time and when I'm not studying for school texts .
Tumblr media
Hello/Annyeonghaseyo/Konnichiwa, my name is Eduardo Kenji Yano Hallal but people call me Kenji or Yano, I know, is a really strange name, its because I’m descendent of Japanese and Italian family. I’m 15 years old (at this moment, LOL), I live in São José do Rio Preto, SP, Brazil and I’m a main dancer of a Dance Group.
A lot of people used to call me Japanese, Korean, Chinese… and it's not totally wrong, is because I’m a Japanese who likes Korean music and loves Chinese food and talking about food I really like cook.
Ok, to end this really short text about me I need to talk about dance because is a really important thing for me. When I was 5, I had known the K-POP, I don’t how bus I liked, A LOT, and I liked the dance, the song… Ok, I liked, but nowadays the K-POP is a fever, I don’t know when, I don’t know how, but it was good for me because I joined in a dance group. We were together for a few months and unfortunately we broke up because of internal problems. But me and some friends from the group we unite to form a new group. I’m so happy with that. We are in the pre-debut period just training for our debut which will be in March from 2019.
Thank you so much if you've read this far!!!

Hello everybody! I'm Brunna, I'm 14 years old and I was born in São José do Rio Preto - Although I have lived in MANY other places in Brazil!
Well, there are several things I like. But my greatest passion is theater, for sure! In 2018, I presented my first play and I was the Bad Wolf in "Little Red Riding Hood", strange? But it was one of the best experiences of my life!
I'm also passionate about reading, especially if they are from terror or comics! Speaking of heroes, my favorite is Iron Man, and I'm fascinated by the whole cinematic world of Marvel (seriously). In the matter of music, I like everything a little. But my favorites are Indie and K-Pop (You probably know this ... either you love it, or you hate it :P). I really love bands like The Neighborhood, Panic! AtTheDisc and Arctic Monkeys!
Another thing I'm passionate about is the Harry Potter saga! Even my Hogwarts house is Slytherin, and yours?

Just a (big) love for dancing!
Tumblr media
The history of dance is difficult to access because dance does not often leave behind clearly identifiable physical artifacts that last over millennia, such as stone tools, hunting implements or cave paintings. It is not possible to identify with exact precision when dance became part of human culture.
• EARLY DANCE
Dance has been an important part of ceremony, rituals, celebrations and entertainment since before the birth of the earliest human civilizations. Archaeology delivers traces of dance from prehistoric times such as the 30,000-year-old Bhimbetka rock shelters paintings in India and Egyptian tomb paintings depicting dancing figures from c. 3300 BC. Many contemporary dance forms can be traced back to historical, traditional, ceremonial, and ethnic dances of the ancient period.
• The late 20th and early 21st centuries
After the explosion of modern dance in the early 20th century, the 1960s saw the growth of postmodernism. Postmodernism veered towards simplicity, the beauty of small things, the beauty of untrained body, and unsophisticated movement. The famous "No" manifesto rejecting all costumes, stories and outer trappings in favour of raw and unpolished movement was perhaps the extreme of this wave of thinking. Unfortunately lack of costumes, stories and outer trappings do not make a good dance show, and it was not long before sets, décor and shock value re-entered the vocabulary of modern choreographers.
By the 1980s dance had come full circle and modern dance (or, by this time, "contemporary dance") was clearly still a highly technical and political vehicle for many practitioners. Existing alongside classical ballet, the two art-forms were by now living peacefully next door to one another with little of the rivalry and antipathy of previous eras. In a cleverly designed comment on this ongoing rivalry the brilliant collaboration of Twyla Tharp (one of the 20th Century's cutting edge Dance avant-gardist/contemporary) and Ballet dance was ultimately achieved. The present time sees us still in the very competitive artistic atmosphere where choreographers compete to produce the most shocking work, however, there are still glimpses of beauty to be had, and much incredible dancing in an age where dance technique has progressed further in expertise, strength and flexibility than ever before in history.
At the same time, mass culture experienced expansion of street dance. In 1973, famous group Jackson 5 performed on television a dance called Robot (choreographed by postmodern artist Michael Jackson) a dance form cultivated in Richmond, CA. This event and later Soul Train performances by black dancers (such as Don Cambell) ignited a street culture revolution, in a sense. Bboying in New York, Locking in L.A., Poping in Fresno, CA, Boogaloo in Oakland, CA, Robot in Richmond, CA, all had their own creative explosions happen around the late 60's - 70's. Each with their own histories, practices, innovators and foundations.
For the emergence of 20th century modern dance see also: Mary Wigman, Gret Palucca, Harald Kreutzberg, Yvonne Georgi, and Isadora Duncan.
Hip-hop dance started when Clive Campbell, aka Kool DJ Herc and the father of hip-hop, came to New York from Jamaica in 1967. Toting the seeds of reggae from his homeland, he is credited with being the first DJ to use two turntables and identical copies of the same record to create his jams. But it was his extension of the breaks in these songs—the musical section where the percussive beats were most aggressive—that allowed him to create and name a culture of break boys and break girls who laid it down when the breaks came up. Briefly termed b-boys and b-girls, these dancers founded breakdancing, which is now a cornerstone of hip-hop dance.

• THE DANCE NOWADAYS
Today we have a lot of ramifications of the classical types of dance, like the Contemporary dance, that is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.
And nowadays become really famous the dance competitions like America’s Best Dance Crew (ABDC) and the dance groups of a lot of types of different styles of dance like k-pop that is a combination of types of dances like hip-hop, contemporary dance and ballet.

Just The Technology Nowadays...
In this century, the invention of technology changes people’s life. People could easily participate in some activities, and they believe that technology have some negative impacts for social relationship. However, other people think that technology aids them to communicate more effectively than previous years.
Tumblr media
Some people give opinions that technology has a tendency to reduce people to face-to-face because some sophisticated tools encourage people do not need to make appointments to meet in some places. Also, people seem busy with their smartphone. It could influences relationship between societies and environment. Based on some researches, people tend to pay particular attention toward their mobile gadgets than real friends. That phenomenon is called by blind relationship. For instance, some students are more familiar with several social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter than their classmates. It is true that development of technology gives strong effect for some people who live in this modern era.
Other people argue that high technology supports them, and people feel more convenient to interact with some relatives, friends, and acquaintances rather than in the past. They could access through some messaging services that are provided by telecommunication companies. Some people take advantages from this situation. For example, businessmen use Blackberry messaging to keep in touch with their business partners. They agree that it is a way to maintain relationship among them.
In my point of view, technology takes important role in this century and gives many benefits for societies. Besides, technology is accessible for everyone such as teenagers and businessmen. Some effects also occur for people either benefit effects or drawback effects. Users should control technology for supporting their activities and do not let technology control them because technology is created merely to facilitate people’s life.
To conclude, technology gives essential roles to assist people in daily lives, and people should properly treat it. Also, technology could not replaces interpersonal communication in social life because technology also has weakness. Therefore, technology could not change people’s life fully, and people should realize that technology simply as facilitator for them to run some actions.

Just loving the art!
Ah, the art! A subject I love to comment on! There are so many talented artists out there, but this time I selected my 3 favorites to show you!
• 1: Van Gogh
Vicent Van Gogh is Dutch and was born on 03/30/1853, but only began to paint his works in 1880. Unfortunately, he died without being famous, but his paintings were for the story. It's worth remembering that Gogh suffered a lot in his life, from psychological problems to treason. He died in 29/07/1890. Some of his most famous paintings:
Tumblr media
(Coffee Terrace At Night, 1888) The idea of the painting came about when Gogh lived in Arles, France. He had read the novel Bel Ami, where there was a scene from a coffee shop in the evening, and decided to take inspiration.
Tumblr media
(The Sunflowers, 1888) The yellow was always one of the colors most loved by the painter, however much it was the cause of his "destruction", since he ingested yellow ink (Surprised?).
Tumblr media
("Starry Night", 1889) Van Gogh had as reference the view of the hospice's window of which he voluntarily internalized, after mutilating the own ear.
• 2: Frida Kahlo
Ah, an iconic person! Frida was born on 07/07/1907 in Mexico. Even with difficulties in her life, such as an accident at age 18 and a complicated marriage, she didn't leave her works aside. Kahlo has also become known as a great feminist reference. She died on 07/13/1954. Get to know some of her works:
Tumblr media
(New York, 1933) This painting was taken at the time Frida lived in the United States, and depicts her view of the country. Kahlo has never liked Americans so much, you know.
Tumblr media
(Two Fridas, 1939) This self-portrait tells a lot about Frida. There's a sort of personal "outburst" of the painter, saying that the "European" Kahlo, after her move to Paris, still needed her Mexican side to live.
Tumblr media
"Feet, why do I want them, if I have wings to fly?"-Frida Kahlo
• 3: Pablo Picasso
Born on 10/25/1881, in Spain. From an early age, he was already showing his talent for painting and at the age of 14 was already based on living models for his works. He died on 04/08/1973. Some of his works:
Tumblr media
(The Weeping Woman, 1937) Picasso loved to portray his beloved, Dora Maar, in many different ways in his works and, well, this was one of them.
Tumblr media
(The Three Dancers, 1925) The painting is a representation of love, sex and death, caused by the bad phase in Picasso's marriage to Olga Koklova, a dancer.
Let's appreciate our art more! So many people devalue it, isn't it sad? Art is so much more than just pictures! You should love it, how about?

Just some fantastic books!
Hello! Here I'm, once again in this wonderful blog, to show you some books that you MUST read! Are U ready?
• 1: IT
The first, of course, is one of my favorite books! "IT" deals with a lot of mysterious murders that occur in Derry, United States. Then, 7 teenagers called "Losers Club" decide to investigate what would be this "macabre thing" and responsible for the wave of murders. Stephen King was the one who created this "bible" of 1110 pages!
Tumblr media
• 2: The Little Prince
A classic of literature, if you've read, you know that It's impossible not to be moved by this book. Written by Antoine Exupéry, "The Little Prince" tells the story of an aviator who accidentally crashed into a desert and there, met a blond boy who claimed to be from another planet. Since then, this little boy wanders the planets and creates many doubts about the life in our mind.
Tumblr media
• 3: The Shining
Going back to the "dark" side, another work by Stephen King and considered the best horror book of the times by many people! The story is about a family that ends up moving to a hotel in search of services during the winter. What they didn't expect is that the place was haunted and would affect the minds of all, except for the youngest son: The shining, who can feel when something bad will happen or not! Strange, right?
Tumblr media
• 4: We Need To Talk About Kevin
(Yeah, I love books with more "psychological" sides!)
This story, written by Lionel Shriver, tells about Kevin, a boy who was responsible for a huge tragedy and ended up being arrested, placing all responsibility on his mother Eva. She, for her part, tries to understand where she erred in her son's creation. It's a serious book that portrays psychopathy in childhood and that's worth reading to think.
Tumblr media
• 5: Harry Potter
The last, but not the least important! The "dear" between us of the blog and many other people.
The story of "Boy Who Survived", written by J.K Rowling, is separated into seven books that tell every detail of his wizarding adventures, all accompanied by his best friends, Hermione and Ron. You'll surely be enchanted by evolution of him in the course of the story and will enchant with Hogwarts, the most famous school of witchcraft in the world!
Tumblr media
I really wanted to talk more about books, but it would last a whole day! So, I hope you enjoyed it, and read the recommendations!
And remember...

Just one of the best TV series in the world!
I bet you've seen at least one TV serie in your life, right? Well, today I'm here to introduce you to one of the best that exists, my favorite by the way. Here's "Doctor Who"!
Tumblr media
This show will show you the adventures of an ET, called the "Time Doctor," who had his home planet destroyed and now came to Earth. To stay alive for centuries, this ET renegates from time to time for another different body (So the lead actor is also changed). Each Doctor has a different personality, which forms the mood of the TV serie.
In all, the Doctor has had 13 renegenerations since the beginning of the series, in 1963 (being the largest show of science fiction ever).
Tumblr media
To travel through time and space, the Doctor has a machine called "TARDIS":
T→ Time
A→ And
R→ Relative
D→ Dimension
I→ In
S→ Space
Crazy, right? As the protagonist himself keeps telling us, "The machine is bigger inside than the outside". Initially, the TARDIS could have the form that it wanted to camouflage in the environment, but an error occurred in its system and its format remained with that of a police cabin.
Tumblr media
Speaking a little more about the show, the most famous episode, called "Don't Blink", tells of two Doctor's escorts who are trapped in a house full of angel statues. Trouble is: these statues move if you blink. The Doctor, not present at the scene, gives hints of where TARDIS might possibly be and how the youngsters could get out of there.
The differential between these statues of angels is that they are not done by programming, but rather they are real actors and painted like the characters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A major controversy involving the new season of 2018 is the issue of 13th Doctor be a renegeneration in the form of woman. Many did not agree, as the series always continued with a male protagonist, but most loved the novelty. The actress who is playing her is Jodie Whittaker.
Tumblr media
In general, "Doctor Who" is a serie that goes far beyond science fiction. It'll make you reflect on the value of friendship, as well as how we should open our minds to new ideas and situations.
In addition to making us cry at the end of each season, of course.

Just a wonderful play!
Hello! Nothing better than the first post is about theater, don't you think?
Tumblr media
Today I'll rely on the musical "Wicked", a famous and wonderful play created by Stephen Schwartz. I have the immense joy to say that I have witnessed the coming of this wonder to Brazil, in the theater Renault (in São Paulo), and certainly became one of my favorite musicals!
The play, narrated by the witch Elphaba, deals with the reality of the story of the "Wizard of Oz", and tells of her relationship with the good fairy of the classic, Glinda, and how everything became known to us.
Tumblr media
It's a real shock to our reality, even if it still has all its magical essence of old tales. You can watch the play on Youtube, I guarantee you'll not regret it!
