rue canonically nearly caught feelings for wuvvy and then,,, Capt. K. P. Hob……

no wonder wuvvy truly hates him

the REASON that the Wuvvy + Hob parallels in episode 8 (“It pleases me greatly to be of use to you” / “All I have ever wished to be is of service”) drive me so insane is bc the things that Rue finds so loveable of Hob are patently ALSO TRUE OF WUVVY! She is also loyal, and honorable, and a champion who cares about Rue’s true self and emotional well-being. But because of the way things have happened Rue simply can’t see Wuvvy in that role

And having to watch them praise those things in someone else, I can understand that Wuvvy would be deeply deeply hurt! And Rue has blatantly said that if they make off with Hob that Wuvvy will never see the person they love most again. “The thing I love and that which I have a duty toward are very much one and the same.” I am screaming I am frothing at the mouth
