Reunited!

I missed her so much more then she missed me lol

My mom had help the last few weeks and was able to keep her even on chemo weeks so I haven't had her for almost a full month?! I have so many fun activities planned!

Tomorrow is pawdicure day (she needs her nails done and some balm). Planning a trip to a pool for all the pups. Gonna work on cavalettis and some other fitness stuff.

I've actually made worse brownies! Imagine above but with the oil all separated out?!

I went like weeks thinking I was just terrible at making brownies randomly!

Well turns out our oven was broken and no matter what we set it to the heat would just keep rising for the length of time we had it on! It was basically trying to bake the brownies at 500 Fahrenheit.

Anyway new oven and suddenly I don't feel like I wasted thousands of dollars on culinary school

Also sometimes you miss the person they were but you outgrew that phase of your life! And that's okay!

Idk how I'm gonna pay for Mischief's pt this week. I have a show the week after (2 if I can pay the vendor fee for the 2nd). Hoping I can make enough to not have to borrow money to pay for Kaz's surgeries. (Tooth removal + toe).

I made a comment about how masking should be encouraged more in the pottery studio and multiple ppl told me it wouldn't work bc of anti maskers and it would be 2 political.

Sorry I was focused on the silicosis (as well as lung cancer and mold exposure) but sure!

I’ve seen unmasked anesthesiologists & RTs for emergency CS & gyne cases… I don’t get it. We mask to prevent contamination of open surgical wounds. Just because COVID mask mandates are over doesn’t mean INSIDE an operating room is a mask free zone.

Used to be that it was unthinkable to be unmasked inside an active OR. Even in the hallways during active OR time. It’s a sad commentary on the impact of the antimask stupidity spilling over to areas where it can impact quality & safety of the patient care environment.

I’m just one person who chooses to be fastidious about masking inside the hospital, I can’t take on the entire system. But it’s discouraging to see & I wonder how many patients go on to have nosocomial surgical infections because of relaxed cultures around masking now."

So looks like we are leaning towards surgery!

I probably won't share 2 many details until the surgeon has his ducks in a row. He's gonna attempt a surgery that hasn't been done in this way before so anything I say would just be a game of telephone.

I'm very excited by how the appt went, I was not expecting a clear plan, I thought it was gonna be a 50/50 and I would have to make a decision.

Kaz did amazing! He was sweet and loved the vets and vet techs! And ignored the other dogs in the waiting room.

Very Silly Concept: a show called "Accessibility Nightmares" but it's structured exactly like Kitchen Nightmares. An accessibility specialist goes to different establishments and helps them make their businesses more accessible.

The accessibility specialist asks why the door at the top of the small set of stairs has a wheelchair symbol on it. The owner replies that's the accessible bathroom. The camera zooms in on the specialist as they process this information.

And like my sis is working nights so she gets to wake her up a lot right now!

She jumps on the bed and gives lots of kisses until my sis pets her then they have a little cuddle. Very cute.

Kaz does not understand this at all and likes to jump on my sister and drop his toy on her face as soon as she opens her eyes.
