I haven’t posted pictures yet from the expo I did last September 2022 to celebrate my 10 years of tattooing. Those pictures were taken just before the opening on September 11th, some are 35mm and the others are taken with my digital camera. The entrance of the expo was a wall of photographs taken of different studio I had the chance to work at around the world; like Til Death in Denver, Seven Doors in London, a basement in Shanghai, my very first home studio back in Mexico, etc. A hidden part of the expo was some contemplative video segments of the time I did my first steps in the tattoo world in Guadalajara, México. The main room was composed of suspended drawings on paper through the past few years. All the drawings were actual projects tattooed on people. In the last room there was a table covered with all my tattoo sketchbooks from the last 10 years around the world. Above were suspended all the machines I still own from the very first to the last one I had the chance to build with Alex Harpin. Above the tattoo machines was suspended a very dry 10 years old orange on which I did practice before my very first tattoo done in December 2012, in Zapopan, México. Thank you to my all my clients, friends and family who came to that very special day. It was a real success, and a very special moment to be able to share this milestone with you.
