Week 10 Start up Venture

what is working? Everything is coming together nicely ! I feel like I'm organized and have a vision! I have enough research and knowledge to feel comfortable in starting this business 

what is not working? I feel like everything is working ! The one thing i could work on is a business website 

how do you feel the project is coming? I feel like its a great project and it expands my knowledge and gives me a insight on how much money I could potentially make 

what are you learning about running a business? I am learning you need to be organized, punctual, and wanting to succeed to have a successful business 

what are you learning about yourself? That I have to work on being organized and divide my attention from home life to work life

Start-Up Venture

what is working? My budget plan is meeting the expectations and demands of other businesses. When researching online I am getting a lot of resources and feedback. There is profit to be made !! 

what is not working? Not allowing enough time in between each client to make an eight hour work day

how do you feel the project is coming? I feel like its coming along well, I am learning all the responsibly and research It takes to start up a business 

what are you learning about running a business? It takes a lot of planning and takes up a lot of your time.

Financial Source for my Business

When looking into my Business and the start up costs I have come across two business plans and financial ways that would work for me.

1) Government Grants and Subsidies

- I would need a detailed project description

-I would need a list of benefits of my project 

2) Bank Loan

- I have excellent credit 

- I would have a solid business plan 

These two financial plans would work best for me and help me with the start up costs in order to successfully run my business. I would not need an extreme amount of money to start my business. With the money I would be making and the profits I could pay back the loan.

Business Operation Plan Blog Post

When starting to plan my Kelsey’s Cleaning company, there are many obstacles and visions you have to plan out. All is very exciting and its amazing watching it start to come together.

Thoughts on purchasing products: My thoughts are buying my cleaning supplies at a local Canadian tire or Walmart. There are many different brands of cleaning supplies out there that I get to choose from. I can always make my own cleaning products to cut down the costs and have it environmentally friendly. I will have a budget and can always find cleaning products on sale and research reviews and comments.

Will you be able to source your product in time: Yes I will be able to buy all my cleaning supplies in time, its available all over and always available. 

Licenses and Permits:  I will have to purchase liability insurance for when I go into peoples homes, just incase I accidentally break something and need to replace a object. If I want to grow my business in the future and hire employees i will need to look into workers compensation Insurance as well. I will provide a police check as well.

Overall vision on what I need to do to launch my business: My vision is; Researching and setting goals on being a successful business women. Knowing all the resources and information on launching a business. My vision is setting myself up to make a profit and setting my cleaning services high. Creating a Varity of social media accounts to promote and make my business successful. I want to make a difference in peoples lives and have them satisfied with my services.
