On April 8, 2014, Philadelphia Zoo welcomed three new little ones to their home as a Black-footed Cat named Aza gave birth to an adorable litter of kittens. The first ever Black-footed Cats ever born at the zoo, the kittens— named Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion—are little, black-footed felines native to southern Africa.

The Trump administration has withdrawn federal protections for transgender students, but their argument for doing so is based on years of right-wing bullshit.

dear whoever loves her next -

she told me her crush is requited. 

i have loved her before you. and she loved multiple other people. i’m not sure she ever really loved me - i will never know. we don’t talk about it.

but she could love you, and if she does, and you love her too, just know, she needs someone who is always there for her. someone who won’t walk away from her, not without being explicit with her. you have to tell her you’ll come back. (she has been hurt too badly by people not coming back).

she hates confrontation (but she needs it. learn to recognise when she is upset with you. she will need you to fix it. don’t hurt her when you do).

hurting is inevitable. she is still molding herself back together, molding herself into the person she wants to become. she is trying. let her know that is enough for you.

she does not want to be alone. not physically, but she can’t stand to be emotionally alone from anyone. she needs someone. be that someone for her. listen to her when she tells you things about herself. be open and accepting. she will feel cared for. 

she does not know how beautiful she is. she does not know how strong she is. she does not know how kind she is. she does not know how funny she is. she does not know how smart she is. she does not know how talented she is. she doesn’t have one goddamn clue about how good she is. she will never believe you if you tell her all these things. but don’t ever stop telling her.

i had my chance for her to let me love her. i walked away. and now, as i feel myself trying not to fall back in love with her, i just want to let you know that you need to love her in all the ways i can’t and more. please, love her gently, kindly, softly. 

she told me her crush is requited. i sincerely hope it works out between you two. i hope something good happens. she deserves more good in her life than she will ever believe.

I’d given up on love when he found me, pulled me from the hole I’d dug, wiped the ashes from my mouth, and held me until I could unclench my lips.

It is worth it a million times over. If all I could do was wake up next to him for the next 80 years, I would.

I thought I would never find love that didn’t break, and I stumbled upon it at my lowest, when I didn’t feel I deserved it but knew I couldn’t let him go.
