“hey honey?” 

ryoma looked up from playing with his cat, “mhm? yes?”

you were holding a slice of cherry pie, its aroma filling the air with its tartness. ryoma raised his eyebrows at the sight and questioned to you, “what’s the occasion?”

“can’t i share a slice of pie with my boyfriend?”

“mhm. fair point.”

you took a seat next to ryoma, his russian blue scurrying away. a chuckle escaped your lips and you picked up a forkful of pie, “say ah!”

ryoma pressed his lips together, “don’t baby me.”

“say ah, damnit.”

“okay, okay!” he laughed before opening his mouth. you placed the piece of pie inside and ryoma chewed on it, analyzing its taste. he nodded in approval, “this is some pretty good pie.”

“thanks, i made it myself,” you smiled. 

“well,” ryoma pecked you on the cheek, “you’re an excellent baker.”

“whatever, nerd,” you snickered, taking a seat at the stoop. gundham sat across you and set down the picnic basket. together, you two got out your drinks and sandwiches, proceeding to eat your dinner under the sunlit stoop. 

“oh!” you noticed the sun setting and the fireflies emerging from the trees, “gundham, look! fireflies! aren’t the 

gundham wanted as you stared at the fireflies with childlike wonderment. who was the nerd now? gundham thought to himself, smiling softly while you tried to catch the fireflies.

he was, for being so in love with you.

“you got the basil?” you hummed to izuku, chopping the chicken on your cutting board. izuku emerged from your backyard’s vegetable garden with the basil in hand, “i got it!” and handed it to you. 

“what are you making?” izuku asked, wrapping his arms around you and nuzzling his face against your neck. you giggled and answered, “basil chicken with lemon and spinach.”

“that sounds delicious!” izuku pulled away from your neck and pressed a kiss to your temple, “do you need any help?”

“could you pick the lemon and the spinach from the garden?” you asked.

“of course i can,” izuku reluctantly released his hold on you and returned to the vegetable garden. he came back with your requested ingredients and watched eagerly, as you masterfully created dinner for the two of you.

“dinner is served!” the citrusy scent of the lemon combined with the basil and spinach created such a heavenly smell. you and izuku sat at the kitchen table and dug into the meal, izuku eager to compliment your hard work, “this is amazing!”

“thank you,” you chuckled.

“next time, i’ll cook,” izuku offered.

“got the paint?”

“got it!”

“got the brushes?”

“got it!”

“perfect,” you took the bag of art supplies from mirio. you pulled out the pastel paints and the matching brushes. mirio set aside the easels and canvas you brought. time to get to work!

“what should we paint?” mirio asked you. you pondered on it for a moment and scanned your surroundings, looking for something to paint. your eyes landed on the bird’s nest hanging in the distant, “what about that bird’s nest?”

mirio flashed you a thumbs up, “that works for me!”

you two stood behind your individual easels and painting the bird’s nest with the pastel paints. it took some time but you two managed to get a good product as your end result.

“how does yours look?” you asked.

“here!” your boyfriend held up his crudely painted masterpiece. you stifled a snicker and praised him, “looks great!”

your boyfriend may not be an artist but he sure was a cutie

your berry red sundress was bright as the sunlight that shined upon you. standing side to side with your boyfriend, the two of you approached the beach with some spring in your step. gonta smiled down upon you, gripping the basket full of goodies tightly. 

“it’s so nice out!” you commented to gonta, the soft breeze of the sea ruffling your hair and dress. gonta nodded in agreement and set aside the basket, taking the blanket before the two of you could have a seat. 

“beautiful day!” gonta exclaimed before offering you a cup of lemonade. you happily accepted it and took a long sip from it.

“this is the life, isn’t it?”

“it good, very good.”

you smiled.

“i love you.”
