Okay. Bear with me for this one:

So, Tony and Peter as brothers who have a pretty good relationship but Tony’s away at boarding school while Peter still lives at home

At some point Peter gets sexually assaulted and it takes a while until he finally gets enough courage to approach his parents and tell them about it

And listen they where never really good parents, both mostly uninterested in their kids, their mom drunk most days and their dad in a permanent bad mood that only gets worse when he drinks. They’re both always criticizing their kids, calling them names and just overall being the worst parents

But Peter still thought they would do something about it when he tells them. But instead they blame him and tell him that he should never tell anyone because it would bring shame over the good Stark name

After that Peter doesn’t know what to do, so he runs away. And where would he run if not to his brother, hoping to at least feel safe with him

It’s a pretty far journey and he arrives in the middle of the night so of course Tony immediately suspects something might be up, but Peter doesn’t want to talk about it. He knows Tony is different than their parents, but what if not? What if this really was Peter’s fault?

Tony is patient and loving the entire time Peter stays with him and eventually, cuddled up in bed, in the pitch of the night, Peter whispers a confession of why he’s here

Tony calms him and cuddles him, softly wiping his tears away and wrapping him in layers of blankets, making sure that Peter is safe and knows it

And they don’t really ever talk about it, but the next night Tony disappears for a while and shortly after Peter learns that his abuser has disappeared under mysterious circumstances and even a while later their parents die in a suspicious accident

Peter never asks, but in his heart he knows that Tony has done everything for him and that he will never be safer than when he’s with Tony

There’s probably a lot of people who would scream about red flags but Peter knows right then that he’ll never leave Tony’s side

Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1

The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.

So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.

So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.

Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.

And the probe is working again.

From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.
