Okay, let's start with the elephant in the room; April is the de facto wingwoman. Always trying to get Andi and Donnie to have some kind of alone time together, hyping the other one up in front of their crush, she goes the whole nine yards.

The boys on the other hand are a different story. The closest one I could think of being a wingman is Raph, but even still, it's not often that he acts like one. He mostly sticks to teasing the two of them about confessing their feelings - mostly Donnie, because it's easier to tease him than Andi. Mikey doesn't tease the two of them, but he does often join April in admiring them, even if they're doing something innocuous like talking. Leo often joins Raph in the teasing, but it's less like Raph's "just shut up and kiss" approach and more "you two are adorable, but I'm never gonna let you live down how dorky you can be."

As for Splinter? He's quietly observing the whole thing with a smile...while also planning out the wedding in his head.

🧸: Would they want to have kids together? If so what are their kid(s) like? How are they as parents?

Heck yeah they want to have kids! Once they figure out the technicalities behind it (and if Andi can even be pregnant with a child with both human and mutant DNA,) they absolutely want kids.

And in case you were wondering, they would have twins - a boy and a girl, named Marie and Isaac. 💛💙

Marie would be the more outgoing one - think Mabel from Gravity Falls, except more sassy. She's bright, cheery and loyal to her core - but she's quite direct and is not afraid to call someone out if they're being mean or dumb - or both. She's also not afraid to get into a little bit of mischief, especially with their Uncle Mikey. And she's the only one who can make Raph dress up and play tea party with her.

Isaac is more reserved and polite, but he can still be direct if he wants to be. He's the one constantly telling Marie not to do something since she can get in trouble, but on rare occasions, he'll join in on her shenanigans. He's sometimes partial to brag that he's the older one since he was born first (about 5 minutes before Marie was,) often earning a whine of protest and "shush, Izzy!" from her. (Side note, she's the only one that can call him Izzy - everyone else gets a glare. In response, he calls her Rie-Rie.) He also idolizes their Uncle Leo, so much so that he often asks to participate in meditating with him, and even asks when he can start learning to use a katana.

As for how Don and Andi would be as parents? Let's leave it at; they both would be overprotective as hell, and Andi would be very partial to threatening anyone with her gun if they dared to even look at her babies the wrong way. But when it comes to the kids themselves? Supportive as all get-out and will never fail in making them feel loved and appreciated, but can be strict when need be - like if they break something in the lab or get into a fight with each other.

Got it! How 'bout we discuss their birthdays?

I am a firm believer that the boys' Mutation Day is the same day the show first aired - September 28. So when their birthday rolls around, Andi will work together with Splinter and April in throwing them an awesome birthday party. The music will be a bit all over the place, but it's the spirit that counts, you know? And of course, she'd get them all gifts - and then sneak Donnie away for a bit of alone time...😌

Not like that, ya pervs 😅

She'd bring him to the surface and take him somewhere fun and private - the Hayden Planetarium (when it's closed, of course 😌), a walk through Central Park, or she'd just bring him to her apartment for dessert and a movie.

And for her birthday? Well, as we saw in Andi's birthday chapter, he will go all out as far as her gift goes. He can and will make her something meaningful and useful - jewelry, a CD player, a new computer (if needed,) anything she mentions she'd like or something he thinks would be a good gift is hers.

And like her, he'd totally arrange something private for the two of them - a rooftop picnic, stargazing, or he'd make a mini projector and put a screen up so they could watch a movie on the roof. Whatever makes her happy. 💜🩷

This is a Bayverse!Leonardo x F!Reader chaptered fic called Desperation me and @symmetricalkazekage are cowriting, and we both agreed to give you all this tiny piece just to satiate that hunger of yours ;}

"Jeez guys, it's too early for this." He sighed, pushing his glasses up and rubbing his eyes. You didn't dare break the gaze, not wanting to appear weak. Leonardo huffed and looked away, making you lift your chin in triumph and finish your food. Donnie looked between you both, shifting the position of his glasses.

   "Seriously, you guys need to make a better effort at this." Leonardo scoffed.

   "Why don't you tell that to Ms. Screams-a-lot." You scoffed as well.

   "Oh, you're one to talk!"

   "Am I? I don't remember ever yelling."

   "You may not scream, but you're still insufferable." He only rolled his eyes and looked at Donnie.

   "See what I mean? Who's idea was it to house a girl?" Donnie did not want to be a part of this conversation, but it was too late. You gasped and threw an opened syrup packet at the blue-clad turtle. The two turtles in front of you froze. Donnie gave you a look you couldn't recognize and started walking backward towards the exit. You watched as the syrup that landed on Leonardo's cheek and shoulder slowly drip down lower. It wasn't until he gave you a dark and dangerous look that it occurred to you that it might have been a bad idea.

   "Get over here!" The shout shot fear deep into the pit of your stomach and you barely had time to react when he lunged at you, jumping clean across the table. You screamed as you ran away, only barely missing his hold.

Confusion.

The only feeling that made her mind so flooded.

Confusion.

It wasn’t exactly the first time he did that. No, it wasn’t. It was very like him to do that. It drove her crazy.

Of course she didn’t have much morals in this matter, she was very far from being good with words. But the fact that Raphael didn’t communicate not even a little bit, drove her crazy. Absolutely insane.

And her intuition wasn’t so wrong. He wasn’t doing great. That situation did not seem to leave his mind so early, and he also did not seem to try not to think about it. He was engrossed by it.

It wasn’t good for him.

And Maíra noticed. It had been three days, and he didn’t call her, send her a message or even take a moment to see her whenever she came down to the lair.

And it was the time to confront him.

She could hear the loud noise coming from the gym, definitely one of the songs from his playlist, the one he used to listen to when he needed to work his brain out. He would usually do it after some fight with Leo, it was his way of distracting himself and “taking a break”.

She knew the knocking wasn’t the best choice here, so she just decides to open the large door and face that huge and brute turtle alone. And there he was, bench pressing, as always.

The loud music really seemed to drown out any other sound in the surroundings, so much so that he didn’t even seem to notice that someone was there, and was trying to get his attention. Instead of screaming her lungs out, Maíra simply reached for the boombox and turned it off.

Raphael instantly left the bar that carried an absurd amount of weights over his head, and sat up from the bench.

— Hi. — She started.

He quickly avoided her gaze. — Hey.

— What happened?

Raph wasn’t expecting her to be so straight to the point. And obviously there was a long pause before she asked again.

— Raph? — She called, never changing her tone. He reluctantly raised his head. — What happened?

— Nothin’.

Maíra closed her eyes and took a long breath.

— Don’t come with your little games at me. Tell me what’s wrong.

— We have nothin’ ta talk about. — He mumbled.

— What do you mean we have nothing to talk about? — She raised her tone as she walked closer.

— Why do ya even care? — Raph raised his tone back.

She blinked a few times, brows meeting her hairline. — Why do I care? Well, maybe because my boyfriend hasn’t talked to me for three days and since he’s sooo good at communicating now he doesn’t want to talk to me. — She snapped and he stood up.

— How can ya say I’m the one who is bad at communicating???

— Because you don’t say anything!

— I thought that ya loved me and ya lied to me!

— I never lied to you!? What the fuck are you talking about?! — Raph groaned, turned around and facepalming. — Come on, speak up!

It took him everything not to break something or even punch the wall next to him. Suddenly, he faced her.

— Are you cheating on me?

A heavy and very uncomfortable pause filled the room, the change in his thick accent and typical tone was incapable of being irreparable. It made Maíra so tense to the point of hitting her back and shoulders, that seemed to be curling up her own skin.

— What are you talking about?

Her voice was tiny and silent.

— Ya wanted me to speak up, didn’t ya? Say it.

— No, I didn’t cheat on you. — Taking another quick breath, she tried again. — What is going on?

Raph swallowed a mix of anger and sadness, then quickly searched for his phone in his shorts.

— What is this?

He raised his arm towards her, showing the screen of his phone. It took Maíra something close to five seconds to recognize the picture he had on his phone. It was a screenshot from one of the pictures she had uploaded on her Instagram, face way too close to another guy, definitely hugging him.

— So? Ya seem to be silent now. What’s ya excuse? Come on, speak up.

He was right. She was the one silent now.

Maíra blinked a few times before replying:

— Raph, this is my brother.

The look in his face was priceless.

— You don’t believe me? I can prove it to you.

Scrolling through her phone, she showed him another picture.

— This is me and him, we were recreating an old photo we took as kids. — She explained. — I was like, six years old here, and he was eight. We took this photo and I reposted it on his birthday.

Raphael had a mix of relief, shock and ‘I am so fucking stupid’ look on his face. He slowly sat back on the beach press.

— I would never cheat on you. It’s disgusting. I could never forgive myself if I ever did that. Besides, — she came closer and placed a hand over his right cheek — I love you. You own my heart... and my ass, so...

A grin emerged in his lips, matching the smirk she was holding. His big hands instantly flew to Maíra’s hips, inviting her to take a seat on his lap.

— Sorry. — He said quietly.

— It’s okay. Are we fine now?

— Yeah.. — Raph nodded. — Can I... Make it up for ya?

His left hand slowly slid between her thighs, the tip of his fingers lightly brushing her clothed core.

— Go close the door.

11. Post something from a current WIP or concept.

So the beginning of the next chapter (called Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye) is in progress so I can't really share it, but I will share the concept of it!

So this is the episode where April and the boys try and rescue Kirby, while unbeknownst to them, Shredder is preparing to take them down. This is a pretty intense episode (one of my favorites!), but I have one scene in particular I'm so excited about writing:

Remember when Donnie comforts April after she breaks down at seeing her father hauled away? I love that scene, but I'm gonna rework it a little bit. Instead of Donnie, it's Andi who comforts her, and it's the first time in a long time we see her crying again - partly because she hates seeing April so distraught, partly because she can relate in losing a father. She grabs April and hugs her tightly, assuring her that they'll get her dad back by any means necessary, even if that means she has to take down the Kraang herself. No one messes with her and gets away with it.

TMNT 2012 ya’ll!

The first character I first fell in love with:

Okay this is obvious at this point… it’s my one and only boy Blue 💙 I just totally relate this guy. Being the eldest is like a naturally born leader and it’s not an easy burden to carry. I wasn’t very empathetic as a kid, but whenever Leo suffered I suffered to. I really did cry when Shredder beat the life out of him so badly that he ended up in a coma. He’s dorky, he’s fine, he’s the good guy, and mine 😉 (or Sayuri’s in that case!)

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

Honestly, it’s gotta be Donnie 💜. When I was younger, I always thought of him to be just so cringe because of his unhealthy obsession infatuation with April and that he seems to be so weak when it comes to an actual fight. But out of all of his brothers, I think he’s actually the most generous. And to be honest? I think he’d make a great boyfriend! He would be so thoughtful and concerned for his lucky girl. She would also happen to get the best gifts.

The character I love that everyone else hates:

Okay— I know she has a lot of haters, but… April. Now— hear me out. I have a love-hate situation going on with this version. Let’s start with love, because it relates more to the prompt. I love April as a character and her role in the 2012 canon. The fact that she isn’t a journalist/reporter and is actually connected with the Kraang-mutant situation is pretty awesome and makes the story (1) just so much more cohesive (2) opened so many avenues. Now, I also happen to dislike her because of her personality… which becomes a little more annoying as every season passed. Is it just me though? Also I didn’t really like how she treated Donnie. Like for goodness sakes’ if you don’t like him, just tell him off and don’t give him false hope.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer:

Casey Jones. At first he was SO cool to me and he had this really nice boyish charm that just added personality ✨ As the seasons progressed though, I was a bit disappointed because he never really had that character change that I would love for him to have. He remained this pesky, arrogant, and immature teenage boy with nothing to show for.

The character I would totally smooch:

Ya’ll already know 👀🐢💙⚔️

The character I’d want to be like:

Splinter. It just seems that he has it all figured out, you know? Also… I really love the whimsy and his witty comebacks. This guy just always knows what to say. Plus, I’d like to effortlessly kick some ass.

The character I’d slap:

Make it characters.

First slap is for April. I would say “Can’t you see that an amazing guy is just absolutely head-over-heels for you?! If you’re gonna break his heart, do it now and let him move on. It’s your loss though!”

Second slap is for Leo.

I know.

And to him I would say.

“For god sakes man! She’s your sister!”

A pairing that I love:

Hands down Raph and Mona. Mona just brings out a side of Raph that I really love— soft, vulnerable, and raw. I think they make a really cute couple. They’re both reptiles, both warriors, and both just as passionate. They’re just so well suited for each other ❤️💚

A pairing that I despise:

Oh don’t get me even started on Leorai. When ‘New Girl in Town’ aired, I knew from the very second they met that there’s something gonna be extremely wrong with this couple— and my gut was SO right. And it’s so not just the incest. Leorai has alot of other issues that makes this pair just so problematic. One, they have totally different priorities and values in life. Yes they’re both leaders, but Leo’s duties lie in protecting his family and Karai’s is for the glory and honor of the foot clan. Two, they have contrasting personalities. Okay— I know the idea of it is cute, but trust me when I say that it doesn’t make for a sustainable relationship. Three, Karai isn’t just right for Leo! Leo needs a rock, someone who will support him and the tough decisions he has to make as leader. He needs someone to come home to add the end of the day, whose lap and shoulder he can lay on, and attend to his wounds (both physically and emotionally). And Lord knows, he needs someone that can actually cook. So I shamelessly present to you…. Sayuri Mizuno💖

The first character I first fell in love with: 

This should be a no-brainer...I think you know him. Tall, purple bandana, gap between the teeth, way too smart for his own good...yeah, it's him. 😌💜

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: 

Honestly, Raph! I started the show thinking very surface-level of him; awesome ninja, anger issues, stuff like that. Then when I started rewatching the show, I started to see how vulnerable and soft he could be with his brothers - along with unbelievably sassy he can be. Seriously, dude has some of my favorite one-liners in the whole show.🤣❤️

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: 

Oh, this is gonna be interesting...I'm gonna be blunt here, Leo. Don't get me wrong, I like him a lot and he has some amazing moments, but he doesn't necessarily have the snark that makes Raph and Donnie stand out, and the sunshine and humor that makes Mikey so endearing. I love Blue, but he's 4th place out of the four. 💙

The character I love that everyone else hates: 

Hmm...probably Shredder. I've seen people say that his motivation is pretty lame (which, in some way, it kind of is) but he's not just a bratty child. He's a really twisted villain and seems to really believe his motivations are completely justified - and you can't deny he's completely ruthless in battle. Really exemplifies the concept of the head of the Foot - and honestly, I think he's a great villain.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer:

Probably April. I liked her a lot when I was younger (the concept of girl power and she's got a potential romance with my favorite turtle? Sign me up!), but once I got older...she really grated on my nerves. Don't get me wrong, I like her in season 1; she's an inexperienced teenager who's dealing with the pain of having her dad be kidnapped and is meeting some new friends along the way. Season 2 onwards? I wanted to strangle her. Not just because of the love triangle (although that is a part of it,) but also because she lost a lot of that awkwardness that made her likable in season 1, and just became a cliche girlboss. But she wasn't even likable there; she just felt like the token female character needed to add "diversity" to the group.

The character I would totally smooch:

The character I’d want to be like: 

Probably Raph; minus the short temper, I'd love to have the skills he has and the undying love with an animal - be it Spike/Slash or Chompy. Plus, the sass. ❤️

He's way too obnoxious for his own good, is way too gross in his flirting with April (he's not chauvinistic or anything, but you just roll your eyes a lot of the time), and doesn't back up his bragging or anything with actually being likable, unlike Raph.

So yeah, he's the one.

A pairing that I love:

If you asked me this when I was a kid, I would've said Apritello - April and Donnie. Now, I don't shame anyone if they ship them, but let's just say I way prefer my version in All's Fair in Love and Science (shameless self-promo 😅) where they love each other platonically and April shamelessly teases him about his crush on my OC, Andi.

But to answer, a pair that I love? Mikey and Renet, personally. She captures that inexperience as a Time Master wonderfully, and she never comes off like an idiot - she's just trying to find her footing. And Mikey's so in awe of her that it's kind of adorable. They both have that same kind of childish, free spirit that makes me just want to protect them. 😅🧡

A pairing that I despise: 

Okay, there are two.

One is the aforementioned Apritello. I used to like them as a kid, but watching it in hindsight is just cringeworthy. Don't get me wrong, I am all for Donnie having a crush (and admittedly, I'm a sucker for the love at first sight trope), but did they have to make it so forced and awkward? And I understand April feeling uncomfortable and not wanting to ruin their friendship about his feelings for her, but that's what communication is. And by not having that, she just kept leading him on and making him think he had a chance - only to either ignore him or just continue treating him like just a friend. It was so forced and awkward and...ugh.

And for the obvious - Leorai, Leo and Karai. Okay, who thought it was a good idea to imply that two siblings could have a romance - and have it be canon that one sibling had a crush on the other? Don't get me wrong, I love Karai; she's bar none my favorite female character in the show. And like I said, I love Leo - but the crush he had on Karai is what brings his character down for me. If they wrote him as impressed by her skills and seeing the good in her from a platonic point of view, it would've been sweet - and added another layer to Leo's character. But no, they went with the pseudo-incest perspective and made us all creeped out.

Exciting News!

I've recently began collaborating with @androidships007, @miss-andromeda and @happymoonangel on Remains, my TWD/Bayverse TMNT crossover.

These last few weeks, brainstorming with these lovely ladies, has been so much fun! I'm so grateful they agreed to join me, on this journey 🥰

We've a few new characters (self-inserts) to show you... 😁

Though they won't be introduced in the story for another few chapters, we were much too excited to wait, for however long it'll take me to get to that point 😅

So, without further ado, here's the last of the main cast of Remains (drawn by the amazing @androidships007):

Though slow to anger, she has a very sharp temper and a sharper tongue.

Skills: Teaching, horseriding, martial arts, CPR and first aid certified, fishing, speaks English and a little Spanish and Japanese, setting traps.

Fighting style: Close combat with brass knuckles and a 12" hunting knife. (Absolutely no range skills) sets booby traps for long range combat.

Past life:

Originally from Texas, Shawnna moved to the East Coast to marry her husband. They had one child, but were a close and happy family. Her husband was a former Eagle Scout, with amazing survivalist skills.

When the virus hit, Shawnna was at the preschool working. She was stranded there with her child and a few other kids, whose parents never showed up. Dedicated to her job, she remained with the kids while waiting for relief.

Eventually, her husband and a band of rescuers arrived. The happy reunion was brief as their group was attacked, before reaching the sanctuary. Her husband sacrificed himself, to save the group. Shawnna, mourning the loss, dedicated the rest of her life to surviving the apocalypse and teaching the next generation how to survive; so, his sacrifice would not be in vain.

Fun fact: Shawnna is wearing Mat's work coveralls. He was a machine welder and his coveralls are fire proof and impossible to bite through.

Personality: Friendly; tends to mask her more boisterous nature around acquaintances/strangers, for fear of rejection. Fiercely competitive, loyal, observant, stubborn as a mule, hopeless romantic. Patience for days, for others; not so much, for herself. More of a listener, than a talker; acts of service are her way of offering support.

Skills: Marksmanship, horseriding, hunting and slaughtering game (namely rabbits, kangaroos, and wild dogs; the American wilderness is a whole new kettle of fish), cooking, gardening (though she can't keep anything other than herbs alive 😅).

Fighting style: Close (dagger) and ranged (rifle, bow) combat; the latter either on foot, or horseback.

Where possible, Hannah prefers sneak attacks; dispatching enemies, with a swift submental space or kidney stab, or slice along the jugular. If she doesn't have the element of surprise, she'll almost always go for the throat and face; attacking the nose, eyes, and ear canals.

Hannah doesn't have any formal training. The only thing that could explain her feral fight style is her upbringing (raised on a farm, with several rowdy brothers).

Past life:

Hannah grew up on a cattle farm in Whittlesea, Australia, as the only girl of three rowdy brothers; so, she isn't above getting her hands dirty, whether it be work or play.

She's a skilled marksman; owing to years of warding off foxes and wild dogs, and rabbit and kangeroo hunting. She held the record, in her family, for the quickest and finest skinning and gutting of game. She's also an experienced horsewoman. She had a grey standardbred mare (Sandy), back home, whom she misses daily.

Hannah was solo holidaying in New Orleans, after successfully completing her degree, when the virus struck. Her return flight seat was stolen by a desperate individual; leaving her stranded in a foreign country.

She survived alone, mostly, for the first few months; travelling along back roads, to minimise encounters with the dead ones (and various other breeds of undesirables), before finally stumbling upon a signpost, promising sanctuary.

"Fun" fact: Hannah has an orchid forearm tattoo, dedicated to her late paternal grandfather; with whom she shared a close bond.

Skills: Resident psychologist, technology (only basic skills though; she can’t hack, or anything like that), strategy, mediation (helping to avoid conflict and serving as the diplomat - if needed), trap setting.

Fighting style: Blunt and close with a baseball bat, though she prefers to stay out of combat unless completely necessary - like if she runs into an enemy or an ambush ensues. When she does fight, she’s fueled by pure anger and adrenaline - but her accuracy suffers in the process.

Past life:

Fun Fact: She wears a silver heart necklace that her father gave her - that ultimately ends up getting lost after the clasp breaks. She also wears little stud earrings with amethysts, as that’s her birthstone.

Dee's lived in Brooklyn with her father her entire life, and stayed in the city when she graduated to attend NYU to become a psychologist. She was actually visiting her father when they got word of the virus from their local news station, and for their safety, took a Greyhound and headed south to stay with relatives. However, they were ambushed by a horde of Walkers in the process, and her father ended up dying of a bite wound to the neck. She managed to fight off the horde and escape, but with no indication of where to go, she wandered the area in search of any other survivors; promising to avenge her fallen parent - whether that’s helping a group or merely killing each Walker she sees.

Eventually, she stumbles upon a signpost, promising safety.

Skills: Senay has some hidden skills she learned from weapons and fight training on the show, as it was an action, crime drama. She also enjoys cooking and becomes a main cook in the settlement. Because of her connection to nature, she also has the skills to forage for edible plants and hunts.

Fighting style: Best with close combat due to fight training from her time on L.A. Blue. She is skilled with her weapon of choice, a tomahawk. She also has experience training with guns for work and can handle most automatic weapons with precision and skill.

Past life:

Senay was born and raised in Southwest Ohio. She moved to L.A. at 18 to audition for roles. She landed a gig as a background character, with lines in a movie starring Ryan Gosling. After that she landed a few more beefy roles in other productions, then the television show she was a cast member of.

She was on break from the show and filming an indie action drama in an Atlanta suburb when someone from the crew starts screaming. All hell literally breaks loose, as a dozen extras start tearing through crew and cast members. Senay quickly finds the stunt team on set, along with a few random crew members that pile into vans and drive away from the horrific events happening on set.

Once back at their motel, they find out what has happened not only around the world, but in Atlanta itself. At this point they have no choice but try to survive in a small town outside of the city. It doesn’t take long for the group of 15 to realize they have to move along.

As time goes on, the group run into a few obstacles that include a few members of their group being murdered by another group of survivors looking to steal what supplies Senay and her group have.

By the time they see the signs for a place claiming to be a sanctuary, there are only 8 members of their group left. But Senay still holds out hope that this may be the refuge they’ve been searching for...

Fun fact: Senay has a septum piercing, and barbells through each nipple. Nobody knows about the nipple piercings until she meets a certain orange clad turtle… 😏

Says “What the butt?” instead of “What the fuck?”, because she wasn't allowed to cuss around her nieces and nephews. Although, she uses "shit", a lot.
