Half meme half being real: it’s a red flag if ur partner doesn’t want to play Nancy Drew games with you/doesn’t let you talk about them/doesn’t watch you play them etc.

For me it showed me that my partner didn’t want to know or understand my interests/the things I’m passionate about. My hyperfixations (i.e. Nancy Drew, Pajama Sam, other video Games) are a really big part of who I am and to understand these hyperfixations or show interest in them is to understand and show interest in me.

Thinking abt this again!! I wanna reiterate that this is my thing and my own feelings about it, as a neurodivergent person with very intense hyperfixations on the things I enjoy it’s a red flag/discouraging when people don’t at least ATTEMPT to show interest in my interests. Specifically with video games like Pajama Sam and Nancy Drew, they very much shaped/shape who I am and how I approach life and stuff
