I'm starting a new series of illustrations with this one! I am drawing women from popular anime that I've seen in an Art Nouveau-inspired style with a flower that I think resembles them

The first one is Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail with a purple Dahlia

The flower Dahlia symbolises devotion, love, beauty and dignity, commitment, elegance, creativity, finding inner strength; and the purple Dahlia in particular means grace, kindness and royalty.

I used Erza's Ataraxia Armor for inspiration for her outfit here, and the swords behind her for the composition of the background.

I really hope you guys like this artwork and I can't wait to finish more piece from this series
