So sad 😥

The tragedy of Jani Lane’s life was he always had it hard. A difficult childhood. A long tiring battle to break into the music industry. He simply came along too late. Hair metal-glam metal was already about to die when he finally made it. He found his success on the eve of Grunge rocks rise to popularity. His breakout hit album came in 1989.
For a brief time he had it all and it was all taken away and overnight he went from a figure of envy to one of open scorn and ridicule. We forget how en vogue it was to mock hair metal artists when grunge came along.
Poor Jani became a prominent target for this derision. Everyone had fun at his expense. Including the creeps from Nirvana. It became a game tormenting Jani at events. This went on even after he death of grunge.
Some of his final shows left him in tears because people came essentially to gawk and mock him. He lost his youthful glow, his hair was thin and he put on some weight. And people never let him forget it. They mocked his music, they mocked his aging. They tore him apart.
People forget what a sweet gentle thoughtful soul Jani was and how sensitive he was. He tried to carry a front and strong but he could never deny his gentle heart.
People where cruel. Certain musicians where cruel. He became a joke. The cherry pie loser. The hair metal f*g. The list could go on. And it never stopped.
So Jani went to a  Comfort Inn in Woodland Hills. There he sat alone. Looking back on his life. Remembering better days. Remembering the worst. Taking a bottle of pills and downing cheap vodka. It was there a sweet gentle soul died alone. He died alone in a shabby hotel room because people just couldn’t stop being cruel.
Factor in the pain of his sexual assault no one ever knew about. There where no resources for male victims of sexual assault and violence. There still aren’t. He carried that pain alone all his life.
I wish this world could have been just a little kinder to poor Jani. Maybe he’d still be here. Maybe things would have been different.
But life doesn’t care about what ifs and maybes. Its the facts that remain and the facts just further reinforce my belief people are nothing but monsters.
He didn’t die from an overdose of liquor and pills. He died of a broken heart. There are a lot of people who hurt Jani I dearly hope roast in hell.

Candace Newmaker was born in Lincolnton, North Carolina, on November 19, 1989. She was removed from her parents’ care due to negligence by social services. At the age of five, she was adopted by a pediatric nurse practitioner named Jeane Elizabeth Newmaker. Within months, however, Candace was acting very violently at home. As the years went on, her behavior only worsened. It is believed Candace was suffering from reactive attachment disorder. In a desperate attempt to control her daughter’s behavior, Jeane took Candance to the unofficial home of attachment therapists in Evergreen, Colorado, where she was to endure two weeks of intensive sessions of attachment therapy with Connell Watkins and Julie Ponder.
In an intense three-hour session, they attempted to re-enact a birthing scene by wrapping the young girl in a sheet to simulate a womb. The purpose was to help her bond with her adoptive mother. Four adults applied their weight on Candace’s tiny frame so she couldn’t free herself. Candace screamed and pleaded for air, and had even stated she was dying. One of the therapist shouted, ‘’You want to die? OK, then die. Go ahead, die right now.’’ Only twenty minutes into the session, Candace vomited and defecated, but she was forced to remain wrapped in the sheet. Finally Candace was asked if she wanted to be reborn, and she weakly replied, ‘’No’’. This would be her last word she would ever utter. The therapists began calling her a ‘’quitter’’ over and over again. The therapists then forced everyone to leave. When they unwrapped the blanket, they found Candace motionless. Connell Watkins said, ‘’Oh, there she is sleeping in her vomit.’’ Her lips and fingertips were blue and she wasn’t breathing. Jeane then rushed in and attempted to perform CPR on her adoptive daughter. When the paramedics arrived, they determined the little girl was unconscious and probably hadn’t been breathing for quite some time. She was rushed to the hospital and was declared brain dead the following day.
All adults involved in Candace’s death were charged and convicted of child abuse. In honor of the tragedy of Candace Newmaker, ‘’Candace’s Law’ was passed which outlaws rebirthing as a treatment in the state of Colorado.

Ever thought someone had feelings for you when the case wasn’t so? Usually, upon being rejected, a normal person would accept it and move on. However, those with erotomania aren’t so easily convinced. Erotomania is more than obsessive love, it is a delusional disorder in which an individual strongly believes that a person, generally a celebrity (but can be a stranger too) is madly in love with him or her. Nothing, not even a firm rejection of the individual’s advances, is enough to convince them that the object of their infatuation is uninterested. They usually believe that the person they admire is declaring his or her love for the patient through special glances, signals, messages through the media, or telepathy. The patient will then attempt to respond to these perceived affections by sending letters and gifts, calling them multiple times, and visiting them at their homes uninvited. Any attempts made by the perceived lover to deny these advances is brushed off as a tactic to keep their forbidden love under wraps from the rest of the world. This makes it hard for the delusion to break. Erotomania is mostly present in those already suffering from psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, but can also emerge during a manic episode in bipolar I disorder.
One very notable case of erotomana in recent history was that of John Hinckley Jr., who became enamored with actress Jodie Foster. He began stalking her, writing her multiple love letters, and even called her, although would not give up even once when she made it clear that she was uninterested. Eventually, driven by his relentless fixation and need to impress and win over the actress’ affections, he attempted to assassinate president Ronald Reagan. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity.

No cause of death found in autopsy of Aurora theater victim who died Sunday
Toxicology and microscopic examination of tissue will take six to eight weeks.

An autopsy of Heather Snyder, the Aurora theater shooting victim who died on Sunday, could not determine a cause of death, according to the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
Toxicology and microscopic examination of tissues that could determine why the 31-year-old died will take another six to eight weeks, Tamara Davis, Arapahoe deputy coroner said on Tuesday.
Snyder had to have her index and middle finger amputated after the rampage by a lone gunman on July 20, 2012, at a showing of “The Dark Knight Rises” at the Century Aurora 16 movie theater.
“She never totally recovered from it. She was reminded of it every day,” Rick Snyder, her father said on Monday.
Heather Snyder was among a group of 12 Red Robin workers who attended the movie to celebrate the 27th birthday of a fellow employee, Alex Sullivan.
Snyder and six other members of the party were wounded.
Sullivan and 11 others died in the 2012 shooting, and 70 others were injured. The gunman was sentenced to 12 consecutive life sentences in prison, followed by 3,318 years for trying to kill dozens of others and plotting to blow up his apartment. There is no chance for parole.
Snyder, who lived in Centennial, leaves behind a 3-year-old daughter, her father said.
