more thoughts for the pokemon game:

there are six available starter pokemon - all of them are pokemon with the pickup ability! so the starters would be phanpy, teddiursa, aipom, meowth, munchlax and pachirisu

partially because a big theme of the game would be cleaning up litter and building (which requires materials) but also because those specific pokemon feel way more appropriate as 'city pets' than something like a fire breathing salamander

all of them would be locked into not evolving similarly to lgpe, but all their evolutions woupd appear in the core game - including an evolution for pachirisu id like to make

I knew it was horror! That was the vibes it was giving off! Though. Because of that I haven’t watched any of it. I was almost pulled in by the trailer and characters, but the horror vibes scared me off.

(I feel like someone should be watching it. I think my anime YouTubers have recommended it or said it was a show to look out for)

Do You Know This Anime?

I love animals that are, like, the opposite of cryptids: we know for a fact they exist and have a clear idea of what they look like because we have photographs and individual specimens, but we haven’t the faintest idea where they’re coming from - they just keep showing up out of nowhere, and the locations of their actual population centres are a complete mystery.

That last statement. It definitely can get frustrating when some kind of crazy strong thing loses its edge.

Also. Is there a term for while the story is happening no one dies, but before the story happened people dropped like flies? It definitely takes me out of it when some characters are set up as ruthless with an actual body count suddenly no longer killing people because we are in the present and the story has suddenly become “good endings only no one dies, including the baddies”. It’s like hearing about how the Joker has already brutally murdered dozens of people but suddenly everyone is only getting Joker gas and this Joker gas is easily curable.

Wait. If the characters involved are the protagonists and they used to kill a lot of people (or would kill people in the future thanks to time travel shenanigans letting us see that) would them not killing anyone now also be a kind of plot armor because them killing people would be a kind of consequence and it would be something that the characters have to deal with?

"plot armor" is so funny as an idea. I can't believe the author used this character in a thematically coherent way instead of killing them off randomly in the fourth chapter...

Realistically, a household the size of Wayne Manor needs more than just a butler, and while Bruce might imagine he can keep his proclivities secret from his own domestic staff, Alfred certainly harbours no such illusions. I've gotta wonder what the orientation lecture he's worked out looks like. Like, of course they're going to be extensively vetted before they ever set foot on the premises, but at some point during the onboarding process the subject of the Batcave has gotta come up – I just wanna know how Alfred broaches that.
