You're not supposed to fight against your feelings. Don't push them away, don't surpress them. Rather, think to yourself: "This feeling is painful and I don't like it, but I will allow myself to feel what I am feeling. It will eventually get better. Feelings are not forever. I am gonna feel this feeling intentionally for a while, then I can distract myself. My feelings are valid and allowed. I am not at war with myself. I don't want to numb myself. I will be happy again soon. There is a time for everything".

It's not fair to tolerate discomfort to make someone else comfortable. You're not less deserving of joy, rest and happiness than anyone else. You don't have to prove yourself worthy to have the most basic things in life, and I am sorry someone has made you feel like you should be perfect. You don't have to put up with so much only to prove you're not a burden on others. I hope soon you can let go of all this guilt and shame you have for simply existing. I hope soon you will feel more alive than ever.

that part in normal people where he starts crying to his therapist about how he thought everything would be different in college, a good different, a good life, better friends, but life turned out a lot worse and he doesn’t have any friends and now he can’t even go back to what he thought he could do better than. there’s nothing left to go back to. the most fucked up thing about childhood is how you spent the entirety of it wishing you were older but then you are older and if it’s horrible, you don’t have the security blanket of saying “it’ll be better when i’m older” like you did when you were a kid cause you are older now & it’s not better, you have no real friends and you can’t even go back to being a kid and it’s a horrible horrible realisation

first of all, what are superfoods, and why are they so beneficial to our health? are those that in addition to feeding us have beneficial properties for health and are 100% natural, their origin is mainly vegetable and raw consumption, have a high content of fiber, minerals, proteins and vitamins, many of this help strengthen the immune system and promise the extension of a long healthy life.
and these are some of the foods you should incorporate into your diet.
goji berries: high in vitamins and minerals
acai berries: beneficial for overall health and boost performance. high in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids.
chia seeds: high in vegetable fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and high-quality protein.
ginger: it is attributed with properties against digestive discomfort and headaches. it also has an anti-inflammatory effect.
avocado: high in healthy fats, antioxidants, it has numerous micronutrients among which are vitamins C, vitamin B5, and vitamin K.
green tea: accelerates metabolism, detoxifying.
