Do you ever go back to a particular time and wonder why you felt the way you felt about someone, in spite of how little they could offer? And how, in that moment, it actually feels like you're getting a lot? How did you get carried away against all reason to feel something about someone that normally you should feel nothing for? What was it? Was it the age? The time? The situation? The person?
It's amazing how some people have a hold over you. How, in spite of knowing better, you still find yourself drawn to them.
