Here’s a sub 12 second 100 yd 95 with a dot and tripler. This is a solid drill that combines tgt ID, positional movement and building, connection to the gun and reactive shooting on a difficult target. When repping alone times can be much faster.

Day 2 is a lot of movement layered with speed and accuracy. Here is a demo to start the movement with simple forward entries from 40, 30, 20 concentrating on an early mount and connection and ending in a solid stance without blading. Students will burn dry reps first and then live.

Extreme summer setup- for when it’s boiling and I don’t want to go from concealment or have a drop leg on; Tenicor ARX holster and Fero mag pouch. I’ll roll with the AR Fero only doing rifle classes as well. All off of a Zero belt. Truly one stop shopping.

Scalarworks has the best tripler mount in the game IME. I’ve never had to adjust the magnifier with this setup. That means it’s made so well the front of the magnifier is square with the rear of the TDS therefore eliminating the parallax like phenomenon that some experience when trying to use RDS/magnifier combos.

Zeroing procedures for RDS/Magnifier setup;

1) zero RDS only without using magnifier.

2) shoot group looking through magnifier at same distance as naked eye RDS zero. Note IF there is a POI shift from naked eye zero.

3) adjust elevation and windage ON THE MAGNIFIER to achieve same POI as when shooting RDS only. Don’t be surprised if the red dot is not optically centered when zeroed and looking through the magnifier…….again this is generally caused by the front of tripler and rear of RDS not being square to one another because the Tripler is on a hinge.

The summer rig!……a Tenicor ARX for my CS to use on those 90 plus days (had one already) when not required to use a drop leg and concealment is just a zoo…….dryfire session getting used to it since it’s been a minute for OWB draws……missed support grip on second one……there’s work to do!…..Will throw up some pics of the complete setup once I get some pouches.
