The exchanging of letters had become frequent between the two after that fateful meeting in the gardens. Although Cosette had her eye on the young Marius for more time than he on her. The last letter had come in a few days before, to meet just outside of where her house stood. Though how was she meant to get out of the house without her father knowing?

The talks of revolution made everyone a bit on edge and it was hardly safe for a young woman to be venturing out in the dark, especially not a pretty little thing like Cosette. As soon as her father had gone to bed and she was certain he was asleep, she gathered the last letter he wrote placing it into her coat pocket and headed out of the door in a hurry.

She unlocked the gate carefully and quietly opening it before shutting it and locking it back up with the key she had found just outside of their front porch. She walked through the street toward their meeting spot, suddenly Cosette couldn't help but feel nervous.. All these weeks of them exchanging notes and now it had come to them meeting one another face to face properly since.

i have to get ready soon to pick up my best friend as we are going to the adult panto tonight. I’ll be out until about 9.45/10pm, show starts at 7 and it’s 2 and a half hours (I know because I work in the venue lmao)
