I’m sure I could use that as a bargaining chip. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t have to. I think everyone agrees that these balls need to get livened up a little.”

“Ah... good game plan,” Laura nodded with a smirk. “Are you suggesting a late night Rosebud Diner trip?” The brunette said with a light mischievous chuckle. The woman smiled widely at the other’s words. This ball was fun— was as little dry. She loved the idea of livening it up. “Fuck yeah, let’s make this a real party.”

“Closer?” Laura asked with a smirk. Finally someone with similar musical taste to her own. “I’d love to join in this,” She replied with a nod with her brown haired head. As she listened to the woman continue her eyes light up at her last sentence. “Something else?” Laura repeated with curiosity. “Do tell.”

“Will you dare me to bribe the DJ into playing Closer?” Laurie held her phone screen aloft so the other person could see the Nine Inch Nails song already queued up. “You don’t have to, I’ll do it regardless. This is all the cash I have left before payday, but it’ll be worth it. Although… I could always bribe them with something else.”

Laura slid over and pulled a seat right beside Sebastian. “You’re telling me,” The woman sighed with an overdramatic tone. “I’m already tired,” She confessed. “Day one and i’m already drowning in assignments and essays.”

a soft sigh escaped the redhead’s lips as he looked at the other person, “one day into the year and i already feel as if this year is going to be never ending.” he chuckled softly and breathed in.
