It becomes very clear when people only consider trans people who are white, skinny, pass perfectly, and are stealth as ‘real trans people’

People talk about trans men and it becomes clear they aren’t counting non-passing trans men, pregnant trans men, fat trans men, and trans men of color.

I see this from other trans guys so much. So many other trans guys will act like they are better because they pass, they are white, they are skinny, and/or they don’t want to get pregnant. So they leave trans men of color, non-passing trans men, fat trans men, and pregnant trans men out of the conversation.

people have gotten so comfortable being assholes for no reason and if you point it out they'll defend it saying that it's brutal honesty, they're just joking, at least they're not fake, etiquette is outdated, etc. it's not normal to have your default response to others be a snarky clapback, especially not to complete strangers.

one of the things that gets me REALLY assmad is willful misinterpretation of other people's beliefs and arguments. i can 1000% disagree with you or have no stakes in the debate at hand, but if i see someone belligerently misinterpreting what you say, there's a good chance i'll go to bat for you anyway.

i've become much less argumentative since polls revealed the average tumblr user is a shut-in in their mid 20s who never fucks or does anything with their life.
