Do you have any tips for drawing rounder/fuller faces? I'm having trouble since they aren't as visibly structured in the same way say Spock and Bone's faces are. My little guys just look so visibly empty but they're just cherubs ๐ญ
i totally get where you're coming from, i always approach drawing from a very structured point of view โ the structure is still there with rounder faces, but its more about focusing on how the muscles move, how the face folds with different motions/expressions, and where/how fat deposits. still important thoughts when you're drawing faces like spock's and bones's but when the cheekbones or jaw are less sharp it becomes pretty important when defining the face. thats the thought process for me at least lmao
heres a quick kirk n scotty for reference
of course drawing from life, drawing from references, etc is always gonna help and i very much suggest it. the more you draw them the more it makes sense
