stop. take a deep breath and calm down. hold onto the peace that comes with knowing that God is good even when your circumstances are not. He has a plan. it may be different than yours, but that’s okay, His is better. He’s got you. look for joy in Him when its hardest and rest in that peace. carry on.

I desire to get married someday. I desire to have a family of my own. But I have to continually remind myself that although it’s good to desire these things, I must always desire God more. I must always desire Jesus before and above all things. I cannot lose focus of Him in the process. There is more to this life than being married and having kids—and it is knowing Christ personally. Even if I get married someday and have kids, even then I must still desire God more. He is the foundation of everything—the beginning and the end.

It’s hard saying goodbye to the community that was your lifeboat and kept you going by giving you something to look forward to each week.
