I woke up in so much pain with extreme exhaustion today. I didn’t even have the energy to cook for myself today and just laid in bed alone and cried. My back feels like my nerves are on fire. My head hurts. When I did try to cook I couldn’t focus on what I was doing and ruined the food so I still couldn’t eat. Tomorrow I have to go back to a 40 hour work week even though last week I ran a fever every day after getting off work. I’m afraid to take time off because I have a promotion in the works and might actually be able to afford the medicine I need in the near future. There is so much pressure on me and I have no support system to get through it all. Only other people depending on me.

My life didn’t used to be like this. I used to be able to take care of myself, I used to be able to accomplish things. Now I just feel like a wind up toy that breaks a little more every time it gets used.

I don’t even know what I’m looking forward to in life anymore, it feels like every day the only thing I have left to hope for is that I wake up the next day, and now I’m starting to not even want that…

When did this become my life? Why? What am I supposed to do now?

I’ve been sick for over a week but I’m finally getting around to engaging with my peeps instead of scrolling endlessly.

i love when a character figures out that chief is making a not-immediately-obvious joke at them. sometimes he does oneliners but also silence is so much a part of the character. sometimes the teasing isn't in the words he says, but in the not saying.
