Week 237: Sunday, April 14th, we wrapped up our spring break with a trip to My Old Kentucky Home, 501 E Stephen Foster Ave, Bardstown, Kentucky. What a lovely day! We spent the previous night across the street at Bardstown Motor Lodge, 418 E Stephen Foster Ave, and had dinner at The Old Talbott Tavern, 107 W Stephen Foster Ave, and brunch at Mammy's Kitchen & Bar, 116 W Stephen Foster Ave. On Friday, April 12th we ventured to Mammoth Cave National Park, 1 Mammoth Cave Pkwy, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, and went on a Domes and Dripstones Tour deep into the cave (though we did not explore all 426 known miles of the longest cave system in the world)! Afterwards we went to Kentucky Down Under, 3700 L and North Turnpike Road, I-65, Horse Cave, to see the Onyx Cave and feed some kangaroos! We stayed at Sleep Inn & Suites, 801 Mammoth Cave St, Cave City, and ate at Cave City Pizza, 210 Broadway St, and KFC. On Saturday, April 13th, we went on a tour of the Log Still Distillery, 225 Dee Head Rd, New Haven, on the Bourbon Trail Craft Tour, and got to taste some bourbon! We also had a chance to see the Lincoln Birthplace Memorial (with symbolic cabin), White City, and the Lincoln Boyhood National Monument (including Historical Farm), 3027 E S St, Lincoln City, Indiana. So much history!

Week 236: Monday, April 8th, our first total solar eclipse in Bloomington, Indiana! Incredible!!! It was so wonderful to have the whole family together to witness such an amazing event! We also took a stroll down memory lane and showed the boys the sights of Bloomington including the Courthouse, Kirkwood, Sample Gates, Union, Law School (with Grandpa Bob's portrait), Public Library, and our old house! On Tuesday, April 9th, we went to WonderLab Science Museum, 308 W 4th St, and got to lie on a bed of nails, make bubbles, and climb a grape vine! Afterwards we checked out the Captain Janeway statue on the B-Line Trail. That evening we went to see Shrek the Musical at the IU Auditorium, 1211 E. 7th St. Lots of delicious food from La Charreada x2, the Trojan Horse, and Greek's Pizzeria. Terran Marks got to meet Terran Marks at the Brown County Forge. We also stopped by the new Chocolate Moose, 405 S Walnut St, for ice cream with Patrick. Lots of adorable cousin snuggles, Maxim losing a tooth, and hangout time at the airBnB too!

Week 235: Saturday, April 7th, Maxim and Terran's first time in Indianapolis! We walked along the canal to the Stardust Terrace Cafe at the Indianapolis Historical Society, 450 W Ohio St, Indianapolis, for lunch. Then we trekked across the IUPUI campus to see our old apartment at Lockefield Gardens and Riley Hospital for Children before walking back through the White River State Park to Fairfield Inn & Suites, 501 W Washington St. Then on Sunday, April 8th, we went to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, 3000 N Meridian St. We had a great time checking out dinosaurs (with eclipse glasses), ScienceWorks, the Water Clock, Inside Out, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and other cool exhibits! We even saw Mimi's family!

Week 233: Sunday, March 17th, Happy St. Patrick's Day! ☘️ To celebrate we stopped by St. Patrick's Seminary & University, 320 Middlefield Rd, hidden away less than a mile from our house, and then we went to Seminary Oaks Park, 299 Santa Monica Ave, to play! For dinner we had Guinness Beef Stew and watched "Wolfwalkers".

Week 231: Saturday, March 9th, our first time doing "The Adventure Challenge: Family Edition" (a gift from Tita Tasha). The challenge was to make a tree out of things you have in the refrigerator (a parsnip, broccoli, zucchini, and spinach with a strawberry bird). Fun times! We also had Allie, Chris, and their families over to our house to hang out!

Week 230: Saturday, March 2nd, Happy Birthday Maxim! To celebrate we went to the Moffett Field Historical Society Museum, Building 126, Severyns Ave, Mountain View. We got to see Hangar One, one of the world's largest free standing structures covering 8 acres, check out cool jet plane cockpits, and practice Morse Code! On the way home we picked up a tiramisu birthday cake from Maison Alyzée, 212 Castro St, then everyone sang Happy Birthday to Maxim!

Week 227: Sunday, February 4th, Maxim and Terran's first time seeing Cirque du Soliel perform in the wonderful show, "Kooza", at 74 Mission Rock St, San Francisco. Fun train ride up to see the show on a rainy day with a stop at Cafe Réveille, 610 Long Bridge St, for brunch and then at stop at the San Francisco Public Library: Mission Bay, 960 4th St, on the way home. That night we got to spend our first night in the house without electricity thanks to the storm! On Monday, February 5th, Maxim and Terran got to spend their first night in their cool new bunk bed! Then on Saturday, February 10th, Maxim and Lianna got to see Stanford Men's Gymnastics compete for the first time at Burnham Pavilion, 615 Jane Stanford Way, including national champion, Asher Hong!

Week 225: Saturday, January 27th, our first time at Echo Lake Sno-Park, Echo Summit Rd, Echo Lake. We had a fabulous time having a snow ball fight, building a Triforce, and seeing the view of Lake Tahoe from Echo Lake Summit! On the way there we grabbed brunch at Moon's Korean Kitchen, 13220 US-50, Kyburz, and afterwards we got coffee at Three Pines Coffee Company, 115 Harrison Ave, South Lake Tahoe. Then we stopped by El Dorado Beach where we had gone with Jess 5 years ago! We spent the night back in Sacramento at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Sacramento Riverfront Promenade, 100 Capital Mall. We had dinner along the river at Rio City Cafe, 1110 Front St, and had a nighttime ride on the carousel with all the sparkly lights!

Week 224: Saturday, January 20th, our first time at Flood Park, 215 Bay Rd, a fitting stop with all our recent rain! ☔️ Earlier in the day we hung out with Mimi and Amelia, and in the afternoon Terran went to Leo's birthday party at My Gym Palo Alto. For dinner we had wings from Wingstop, 1918 El Camino Real, Redwood City, for the Packers vs 49ers game!
