Water Tank Trail Laguna Beach
Tumblr media
The beginning section of the trail is quite challenging due to the steep incline. On the other hand, it offers a good cardio workout. Once you are on top (about 15 minutes), you will be rewarded by a magnificent ocean view. I saw a online picture of this trail during spring when the yellow mustard flowers are blooming alongside the trail. It is just beautiful with the ocean and the flowers as the backdrop. Free parking along poplar street.

Oak Canyon Nature Center
Location:This little gem is tucked away in Anaheim Hill. Address - 6700 E Walnut Canyon Rd, Anaheim, CA 92807.
Parking: Free. There is a small parking lot and some street parking.
Trails: stream trail is easy, flat, and scenic. There is a creek flowing along the trail. I love the canopy formed by the oak trees, which provides sort of a magical surrounding. It is a perfect relaxing hike.
There are many other trails for everyone, some are more challenging than others. Most of the trails are shaded.
Overall, a beautiful place to enjoy nature, have a tranquil hike, and snap some great pictures.
update 02/20/21
Today we hiked on Roadrunner Ridge Trail, the most challenging one among all trails there. We hiked all the way to the top where the walnut canyon dam is located.
