i started playing toontown again because i had a random dream about it the other night; and apparently i am not alone in this extremely sudden urge to play toontown again. apparently a large wave of people have decided to pick the game back up again out of nowhere. i think this is what a renaissance is

the business the cogs probably run is producing and selling gags wholesale

#squeaks n stuff #i mean i think if they really wanted to take over toontown entirely they could have already #itd make a pretty good business model too #anytime sales are down just do an invasion and sales are back up #i mean the toons and cogs never make any real headway in this fight one way or the other #its not like the cogs have fully taken over a playground or something #i know its a game and its kinda be against the point if the toons ever pushed the cogs out of the toons territory but. #it seems like an infinite game of tug of war that the cogs could win if they wanted to #i think all we get told is that the cogs want to turn toontown into a corporate wasteland but #if there was no ulterior motive for the cogs to stay in toontown specifically i think they would have left #there has to be some business benefit to staying in the areas theyre in #and its selling gags.

im sure this has been brought up before but i kinda just realized how. backwards it was that toontown online was kinda only fully playable with a paid membership. like yeah you wanna be a cartoon fighting against symbols of the corporate world? you have to pay the corporation money first.
