Apparently I read that this was a picture from s2 and sadly for us both of them were wearing rings during s2. If you look closely the scene at ep7 (locker room scene) you will notice the rings. At least we have those leaked pics from s3.

what do you think about the way nadia and guznadia was portrayed this season? do you think the writer ruined them completely?

I love Guzman and Nadia but for hijaabis or Muslim girls like us themselves it’s a kick in the teeth. Not all Muslim girls rebel so I don’t understand why Nadia went from a proud hijaabi to what she is now. I feel like the transition is a bit sudden. No one really cares about Omar because he was never religious to begin with

I’ll answer these two together. My answer is no. They didn’t ruin them as a couple, nor did they ruin Nadia. Her storyline since season one has been about trying to remain loyal and obedient to her family and religion, all while trying to discover herself. She took off her hijab because she wanted to, not for Guzman. She is still proud hijabi considering she still wears it when she can because she can’t wear it at school, and the only time she doesn’t wear it was when she was at the club, and that was twice (?)

As a Muslim woman myself, I resonate with Nadia as she tries to navigate her love for her religion and parents, while also trying to stay to herself. She didn’t rebel whatsoever – I think it’s called evolving and discovering. The transition isn’t sudden only because this happen been a storyline since season one. 

I see people saying they ruined Guznadia but how so? She’s in love with him, they are in love with each other. Her family is an obstacle and we clearly saw Nadia pushing Guzman away because she didn’t want to disappoint her family Her coming clean about the video was a sign of growth, and makes me think next season will be all about re-introducing Guzman to her family. I mentioned before that I can relate to her experiences, especially with men because I was told not to bring a white man home lmao. 

Anyway, no they didn’t ruin them. People expect Nadia to just be the same girl, obedient and well-behaved but it’s okay for everyone else to discover themselves. She’s only 16, in high school, and this is the perfect time to screw up – not that she has anyway.

I think the whole Nadia debate is directly caused by the lack of representation young muslim women have on television. The fact that I can only name two shows, Druck and Elite with muslim women as part of the main cast is enough proof because there is no one way or two ways to be muslim or anything else in the world. Not all muslim women are Sanas and not all muslim women are Nadias and of course some people will be mad that they don't see them selves in these caracters, but that doesn't mean that one is better than the other. These two shows are telling two different stories about two different people in two very different situations. Elite has always been a show about moraly grey people who do fucked up shit. I didn't see a girl who has to give up her religion and her hijab for a man or a women who was forced to have sex with a guy to prove her love for him. I read some people complaining about the lack of communication between Nadia and Guzman and how it was all sexual. Did we watch the same show? These two spent the entire first season building a relationship on communication and respect. It didn't come from nothing and we see how well they know each other. Nadia knows how to bring Guzman back from his drunk and drugged spiral, the scene with two notes because Guzman knows how she will respond to the first one, when he tells her he knows that silence, that silence comes before she runs (my favorite part from that scene by the way), or when he yells at the students when they are playing the video and tells Nadia that he knows she doesn't need protection and tries to convince her she's not a bad person for what they did. Nadia spent the entire season 2 torn between her religion and what is expected of her and her feelings and desire for Guzman. Can you imagine how frustrating it is to watch your brother live his life and be with who he loves and you not being able to do the same? She is not a bad person for falling in love or having sex. It could have been done without the cheating but it is elite we're talking about here. Also she didn't took off her hijab and instantly became hot. Guzman fell in love with her with a hijab. And also Guzman? Like I am not he's biggest fan but with Nadia he always comes through. He is so soft around her. He stops drinking and doing drugs because he doesn't want Nadia to do it too and offers to take her home, he takes a step back when she first goes in to kiss him to make sure that's what she really wants. He asks her if she is okay constantly, she leads every physical interaction. He mentiones talking to her family more than once because he knows how important they are to her and how much their approval means to her. I just have a lot of feelings about them. And I think Nadia was judged too hard in the fandom this season, especially with everything that's been going on. Is it the best muslim representation? No. But is it the best representation for anything else? Not really, no. So yeah, I'd say have more muslim women in media with different storylines and we won't be having this discussion again.

Πέρυσι έδωσα πανελλήνιες και απέτυχα παταγωδώς. Ήταν η πιο πετυχημένη αποτυχία που έχω κάνει!

Σε 7 μέρες δίνω για 2η φορά στη ζωή μου πανελλήνιες. Αυτή η χρονιά ήταν δύσκολη για εμένα, όχι λόγω μαθημάτων , σωματικά δύσκολη, αλλά ψυχολογικά δύσκολη. Χώρισα μετά από περίπου 2 χρόνια σχέση, δε περασα πουθενά, οι φίλοι μου φύγανε και απομακρύνθηκαν , δεν έβγαινα, δεν φλέρταρα, δεν γνώρισα κανέναν νέο άνθρωπο,ήμουν σπίτι μόνος όλη μέρα γιατί οι δικοί μου λείπουν. Ήταν η πιο δυσκολη χρονιά τής ζωής μου και ταυτόχρονα η πιο επιτυχημένη! Γνώρισα εμένα, τα γούστα μου τον χαρακτήρα μου, οριμασα πάρα πολύ ψυχικά και νοητικά, έχασα 12 κιλά με γυμναστική σπίτι , έκανα το τατουάζ που πάντα ήθελα αφού μάζευα λεφτά καθώς δεν έβγαινα, έπιασα δουλειά σε μια πολύ πετυχημένη επιχείρηση για το καλοκαίρι με υψηλό μισθό, άλλαξα κούρεμα, ντύσιμο, πήγα ψώνισα πόσα πράγματα..

Μετά από όλες τις ατέλειωτες ώρες δουλειάς, διαβάσματος, γυμναστικής, μοναξιάς,αγοράς ρούχων..Το μόνο που μου έμεινε είναι να πετύχω τον στόχο μου και να μπω στο Πανεπιστήμιο.

Οι αποτυχίες μας, καθορίζουν το μονοπάτι και τις επιτυχίες μας.
