The Calm After The Storm

Summary: Thor and Loki visit New York in search of their father Odin when Loki notices a Midgardian with an ominous scratch on her arm.

Pairing: Loki x Female!Reader

Warnings: Huge Trigger Warning, mentions of rape, mentions of sexual abuse, A LOT of Angst, suicidal thoughts, mentions of self-harm, Spoiler for The Avengers and Thor: Ragnarok, eventually Smut, some fluffy Loki

A/N: This story is set in Thor: Ragnarok when Thor and Loki visit New York in search for Odin. However I changed the storyline a bit. So instead of Doctor Strange “kidnapping” Loki, the asgardian brothers will spend some time undisturbed by Strange in New York. Also I’ll make this into a series but I haven’t figured out yet how many parts there will be. I chose Loki for this story since I think It’d be really interesting to see how he would react to something like this.  With Love, Léne xx

My skin started to burn from the intensity I scrubbed my body with under the shower. The washcloth’s raw surface reddens my stomach, making flakes of my dry skin appear. Everything hurts but I can’t stop to rub until the ghost of his touch that I still feel completely dissappeard - even if I have to peel of the first two layers of my stained skin. And we’re just talking about the visible pain now. The emotional abuse is unbearable. Driving me to harming my body on full purpose. Somehow the physical pain helps, it represses the sorrow in my soul. At least for a minute. I’m starting to get dizzy the longer I surpress the rising panic in my stomach until my vision blurs. It feels like I’m looking straight into the eye of a storm. I’m in midst of a life ruining hurricane and just have to watch everything falling apart without being able to do something about it. How am I supposed to pick up the broken pieces all by myself after the storm subsided? The most challenging part about my daily shower routine is the washing between my legs. Careful, since it is still sore down there and bruised even though the incidence happened almost a month ago, I cleanse the most tainted part of me. I have to close my eyes while doing so, having memories come up in my brain in the blink of an eye of the unwanted touches I received in that spot. As always I don’t feel clean after I step out of the shower. I feel hurt all over again. The bad memories wrap around my body like his dirty fingerprints, covering my skin in pure disgust - for only my eyes to see. The trauma gets even from my own touch unraveled. I dry myself as quickly as possible, yearning for clothes to cover up my naked form again. I leave my hair to dry from the air and just brush out a few knots out of the wet strands. After I swallowed the pills my doctor prescribed me for the psychological damage of the trauma, I leave my apartement without eating breakfast but with my hair completely dried.

Let’s catch up

So I haven’t been writing any fics for a while. I have been reblogging things on my main account, but I am just mentally exhausted to even write anything at the moment. College has been a really big bitch and I just also have to accept/deal with that, and it’s all just getting a bit too much. I hope that one day I’ll be able to write again, but right now I am just too depressed and tired to do anything than surviving. And I mean I am literally surviving untill things get better. I hope they will.
