i keep relearning this, but if you really just want to casually enjoy a piece of media, you gotta stay away from fandom space (or limit involvement at least). nowadays, fandom space has become so saturated with discourse that its exhausting. While media is meant to be discussed and some discourse is valid and necessary to absorb what the author meant, sometimes its just not fun having to scroll through posts saying who is wrong about something or who is right. And then, you end up hating the media rather than enjoying it.

#im in so many fandom spaces #so many different ones too #but ive observed the same kind of pattern in which there is much more discourse #instead of like discussions about what you enjoyed about the media #fandom talk

At first Fabian refuses to interact with his and Fig’s new sibling but one day his mom is dealing with something in the other room and the baby is crying and so Fabian has to pick up the baby. So he picks up the baby, bouncing them gently, and says, “One day, eighteen years from now, I will fight you to the death.” Then the baby reaches up and curls their little hand around his finger and Fabian’s voice breaks, utterly in love with this tiny person, and says, “I will defeat you,” unconvincingly.

ok, im thinking back to what sandralynn said about the animals from the mountain of chaos destroying themselves, and the wolf packs killing each other.

i had a theory that Stardiamond had something to do with Lucy’s death, and TRG are being blackmailed.

But now, im thinking that whatever happened at the mountains of chaos infected all of them perhaps, and then when Lucy tried to get rid of it aka change her god back? she is essentially “rejected by her pack” and thus killed. Lucy WAS attacked by multiple assailants, (an info i completely forgor) and i cant think of any other group that could directly be involved, that is in close proximity to Aguefort and the Farhaven Woods, other than The Rat Grinders.

whether or not they remember, or were conscious when this rage consumed them is still a question

this is soooo specific, but kipperlilly’s mindset reminds me of those ppl irl who act offended when you get a full ride to college bc of financial aid, but they never think about that maybe the reason why you got a full ride is bc ur poor and ur family literally cant pay for college.

its so specific, but that is who kipperlilly is to me.
