Week 11: Editing Discussion!
During this week,
Christopher created a basic layout of where each clip will go in Adobe.
As well, during our lecture class, we discussed how will will move forward from this point, and what jobs had to be done. Samantha took over the graphic for the title sequence and end credits, Christopher is continuing to be the film editor, Alicia will be on the art directing side, editing the overall colour theme and aesthetics, while Ky and I are working on music.
I have found a few royalty free music from both websites and YouTube. However, finding music has been difficult, as majority of music I have found as an overall modern-techy sound to it, while we are going for more old timey type of tunes. I have however found some eerie type music that may fit well in the first sequence in the film, however, the fight scene music has yet to be found.
During this class as well, I had to leave early due to work, so while I was gone in the last half of the discussion, the title was changed to 'Out of Ones Own Misery'.

Week 10: Filming Fowl Syndicates!
13th of May (Thursday).
Our group got together and filmed the scenes in our film all in one day, and also decided that the name is Fowl Syndicates.
However, I myself wasn't at the first portion of the day when the cemetery shots were filmed, but I was there for the rest of the shot that was located in various areas around Newcastle, and appeared in the final scene at night by the water.
We used Christopher's phone as the camera and his audio equipment to record the sounds, and for the night time scenes we used a light ring to enhance the shadows for some of the fight scenes.
As of now, Chris is holding the clips we got and will be placing them into premier pro and editing them to flow nicely, however, Alicia and Samantha will be working together to finalise the stylistic choices such as filter, graphics and other forms of editing.

Week 9: New Group, New Idea.
c3380020 Friday 12pm x323 Jane Shadbolt
As the classes had changed, I asked to be apart of another group, which their idea was to create a 1940's inspired crime film. Titled 'Free' for now.
We established right off the bat what jobs were going to be set out. Which everyone in the group does have their main role, however, we are all familiar with aspects of creating a film, we will be balancing out areas if one other person needs help.
I, myself am the dialogue creator on the script, as well as a spare editor and cinematographer. As the script was created from the previous week, as I wasn't apart of the new group yet, and the script wasn't keen on dialogue I took over as dialogue is one of my favourite aspects of films.
We planned out a timeline of how we will be using each class, as well as too keep track of what needs to be completed during the week. Majority of this week we all have been researching into films similar to our story and aesthetic. Some people in the group as well have been exploring around Newcastle for areas to film.
As of now, we already have actors to play scenes, and people in the group will be appearing in background shots.

Week 8: STORY BRAINSTORM
CIND1004  Friday 12pm x323 w/ Jane Shadbolt
c3380020
For the first group session, the group I was in based our brainstorm like this:
1. Genre : We started here to find what concepts we could come up with, we all agreed comedy was a strong point for ideas.
2. Who? What? Where?: Then we had to figure out who was our main character going to be? We wanted someone to either have the best of luck, or worst of luck, as we were still developing our story. Then we moved to what would be happening? Deciding on the main character wandering around Newcastle, causing havoc everywhere they look, while themselves were avoiding everything until they came across a dog, which then the luck switches. Where? We hadn’t concluded where around Newcastle, but generally close to the University to make it easier for everyone to get there.
However, as the classes had changed, out group changed a bit.
