“Well, you’re a giant.” she rebutted, Chloe smirked and leaned in to press her lips to his, dipping her tongue past his lips to deepen their kiss. Pulling away gently, "I'm not going to stop you from pulling them off if you wanted to." She whispered in his ear suggestively. His reasoning for her staying longer made sense, though it still made her a little nervous. To avoid admitting her feelings, she smirked at the opportunity to tease him, and she would have taken it gladly, but something was weighing on her. Looking at him, she could see he was being vulnerable, she should give him the same respect and this conversation was easier to handle. Unlike the 'unattainable dream' question. "I don't know, how long am I welcome? I don't want to overstay and have you begging me to leave." she stated honestly. "I'd want to stay whenever I felt like it. Like when we work late, or have to be up at the ass crack of dawn for a call time or a shoot. Staying with you would be pretty convenient. I also pay for an apartment, it would be poor return on investment to not stay there every once in a while at least." she chuckled lightly. Then he started rambling again, a clear sign he's nervous in this conversation. She placed her hand on his cheek, "Kade," she called his attention to her. "I think you know pretty well, that I don't ever feel compelled to do something just because you asked me to" She smiled, "This isn't going to be any different." She chuckled, and leaned up to kiss him quickly.
"You're just so tiny and those pants are so big," he laughed a little, pushing a kiss to her shoulder. "That's not what I was getting at but I'm also not going to stop you from taking your pants off." That would just be insane. Chloe keeping her hands on him was welcome, the one that had been in his hair had been hard to give up but he wanted to look at her, to see how she'd react to him asking her to stay longer. If it was a negative reaction he could always play it off like a joke and if it was a positive one, well, then there was nothing to worry about. "You're here all the time anyway, it's not much different. It's just... it gets kind of lonely sometimes." Sure, Kade liked having time to himself but Chloe staying with him hadn't been horrible. "I don't know, how long do you want to stay? I mean, you can obviously still have the guest bedroom but... I wouldn't mind if you slept in here with me sometimes." That could be part of this arrangement, couldn't it? "You don't have to just because I'm asking but if you wanted to, well, then I want you to."

"You got it," she grabbed a bottle from the fridge. Whatever this was between her and Archie, she couldn't find herself leaving. At first, she'd been tasked with getting close to him, find things that he and Erin would have in common. Though the more she got to know him, the more things he had in common with Eden. Now that Naomi's gone, she thought she could loosen the act, she could be herself more, maybe even come clean... to some extent. "Today's not any better?" she asked, throwing him a small smile as she walked around the bar, taking a seat in the stool to his left then placing the bottle in front of him. She'd thought of a plan to tell him, to lie to him, again. She figured the most believable story was that Eden was her first name, but she went by her middle name. "How long are you going to be pissed off at Alex?" she asked, raising her eyebrows. He doesn't know just how much knowledge she has on the situation, Eden rolled her eyes, "Archie, it doesn't take a genius to see the way you bark at him,"

archie was exhausted. he hadn't slept properly in days. to say his family had seen better days was an understatement - everything had descended into chaos thanks to his brother and his inability to think before he acted, archie thought savagely, and now the rest of them had to run around trying to pick up the pieces. it was with a bleak expression that archie entered the bar and when he sat down he ran a hand through his hair, which was already somewhat dishevelled due to how many times he had already done it. "i need a drink." archie replied, giving eden a half smile which probably looked more like a grimace.

"Yes, big pants. Is there a message i'm missing?" she asked smiling with a light giggle, "You want me pant-less Conroy?" she teased feeling grateful that he'd moved on from the heavy topic. "Yeah, I'm sure." she replied. She figured he was being sweet, caring for what she was to say, but truthfully, it wasn't going to help their situation. It was a hard topic, a heavy topic. One no one wants to hear. "You're no fun, but fine." she smiled, as he adjusted himself, her hand moved from playing with his hair, down to his arm. She liked touching him, she felt more connected to him. Like if they were to continue to be physically connected, it could prove enough to not get emotionally connected. She furrowed her brow, then raised them in surprise. "You want me to stay?" she chuckled lightly, "I would have assumed you'd want me out of your space." He was incredibly particular with his space, she knew now it wasn't him being a neat freak, but it was his OCD. "Maybe you should wait a week before deciding that." she chuckled, her hand leaning up to run through his hair. "How long would you want me to stay?" she asked because truthfully, living in his luxurious condo was better than her small 400 sq ft one bedroom apartment. If anything, his groaning in her dream might have been telling her to get a bigger space.
"I think I am." It was too difficult to trust anyone to get close enough to them for a relationship to occur. Top that off with his general disinterest in most of the people he hooked up with and Kade was doing so poorly at the whole thing. He hadn't grown up in the same kind of environment Chloe had. His parents were genuinely in love with each other, were good people even with all the opportunities they had to be the exact opposite, and they loved their son despite his troubles. Kade just didn't know how to replicate that. "Big pants," he repeated just to break the tension around the previous subject. Chloe was right though, this part was nice even if she'd just had him blushing like a mad man. "You sure?" Pushing when she didn't want him to didn't seem like the right move so he mostly let it go, even if he wanted to know what she was thinking. "I'm really bad at games though. Already lost to you once. So, if I keep with the trend you're gonna get whatever it is you want out of a bet anyway, aren't you? So what if I just ask you for what I want instead?" He shifted a little so he could prop himself up on his elbow, looking down at her, studying her features. "I want you to stay longer. The two weeks will be over soon and I'm not ready for you to go."

"Duly noted. I will let subconscious Chloe know that." She replied with a smile. Despite them never really discussing their personal lives too much until recently, this information didn't surprise her. "Well, I don't think you're missing out on much." she'd mumbled. She knew relationships could be so peaceful and make many people very happy, Chloe deemed herself too broken for that sort of happiness. "Alright fine, but we're comfortable, we're enjoying the comfort of another person without the extra pressure." she explained. Chloe looked at him and let their eyes meet as he questioned her, "Nothing," she dropped her gaze. Hoping he'd drop it. She stared at him as he answered a question she'd didn't expect an answer to. Clearing her throat, choosing to move on from that somewhat romantic note. "I thought I answered this already, it's more fun this way." Or that's what she told herself when really, too many people let her down. She'd experienced more honour to a game than her asking for favours. So she stuck to it. "It's not always about what I want, I was actually going to get you choose the bet this time."
"Alright fair. But, for the record, you wouldn't have to force me to eat a bowl of cereal." Would it be his first choice? Probably not. Kade's go-to breakfast was a protein shake and a bowl of fruit because those were almost always safe. "I've never been in a relationship. Not a real one." Kade was so quick to push people out that he'd never experienced morning afters like Chloe had been describing. "I have trouble making genuine connections with people," he says as if he's reciting the line from something someone else had said. A therapist, if he's honest. "Neither one of us are naked. In fact, you are wearing the biggest pants ever right now." He was certain the pair of sweats she had chosen were even big on him which made it even more amusing. "You think what?" Kade caught that one and didn't let go of it as easily as he had the whole peanut butter thing. He wanted to know what she was thinking. "Because it's you... because I'm not gonna make you get out of my bed and go home and never see you again." Too real. He shifted his focus onto her bet instead, even if he didn't really want to make one. "Why are you always trying to make wagers with me instead of asking for what you want?"

"For your information, the chef was included because I know you're picky. I was subconsciously thinking logically." She defended the dream version of herself. "I'm not sure," she admitted, "I've never found relationships to be easy like that. Morning coffee, discussing the day, that's never happened without anxiety about what the other is thinking, or a continuation of the fight from the night before, or something is usually always going on." She admitted, It's why she does her best to avoid them. "This is more fun," She said, "Laying naked in bed, making each other laugh, talking about sex, not getting too serious." Chloe shrugged, "I think I-" want to be cared for. She stopped herself from saying that last part, explicitly obeying her own rule of not getting too serious. "What? Why? I get a peak of what's you think of me, and I get to see you blush about what you thought of me. Isn't that fun?" she asked her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Well, I was going to suggest a bet, but we both know you don't like those since you always lose." She teased, not really having a bet in mind, but willing to change the subject to ease any embarrassment on his end.
"Hey! It's been kind of a drought over here, excuse me for things getting a little spicy in my mind." He'd been so busy that the only person he was even spending any time with anyway was Chloe. It wasn't his fault his mind innocently wandered into the what ifs. Though it seemed he wasn't quite alone. His face still burned bright but he was starting to get more comfortable after his reveal as hers came to light. It was so simple. "My chef," he huffed a little under his breath because the whole thing made him sound pretentious. Yes, he had one, but he'd argue that he reheated most of what was stocked in his fridge and half of it he gave away but right now wasn't the time to argue. "So your fantasy is being in a relationship..." With me. He didn't add the last thought and instead just leaned in to kiss her cheek. "I don't want another turn, I don't like this game." It was too revealing, gave away too much. "Depends on what you mean by switch it up."

Chloe barked a laugh in victory, "I knew it!" she giggled, smiling down at him as he continued to reveal his fantasy. "Oooh," she sang similarly to the way an elementary girl would. Smiling, she hooked her pinky to his, "Alright," she adjusted herself on the pillow as she thought about which fantasy to reveal. There weren't that many, but some blurred together. "A few weeks ago, I had a dream. You were in my kitchen, boxers and t-shirt on, disheveled hair, groaning at how tired you were since you'd slept in my 'normal' bed." Chloe's eyes drifted from his, to the ceiling as she focused on recalling all the details. Figuring the more details she could provide the less mortified he would feel. As a fidget, her hand moved through his hair, "We we're drinking coffee, I'd made you eat cereal cause it was going to be a long day on set. I had this worry that because your chef hadn't prepared something you were going to faint if I didn't feed you or something." Chloe chuckled at the memory of the dream. "The dream then cuts to us being in your trailer, I think we were an established couple amongst the team since no one reacted to me sitting on your lap." Chloe felt her cheeks turn a slight shake of pink, "It was super innocent and mundane," she looked back down at Kade. "You had the fun and exciting fantasies." She did too, she'd let her mind go there one night, but felt such shame, she wasn't sure she'd be able to face him the following day. "Your turn," she smirked. "Or do you want to switch it up?"
Kade didn't know about Chloe's family because he'd never asked. He wasn't the prying type, not really. Maybe if it was something silly or something he absolutely needed to know but things like that? He usually just let people tell him what they were comfortable telling him and he and Chloe had never found the time for a conversation about it. Still, he had to believe she wanted something more than peanut butter. "I'll leave one wherever you want one." He could've given her examples of places he'd leave a hickey all night if he wasn't so busy trying to hide from her. Kade didn't think he'd ever blushed so hard in his life. He wasn't ever embarrassed about stuff like this but here Chloe was having him fold under her questioning. "Yes, jeeze!" It wasn't like he'd planned for the thought to go anywhere, he hadn't even expected to have it in the first place but with Chloe being around so often, living in his space for the last week, it just happened. "We were just kissing," he mumbled, still trying to hide in her shoulder even though she had hands on his face and was forcing him to look at her. "And you had clothes on but then you were... touching me." He left out the part where his hands hadn't exactly been still either because he was still embarrassed by how tame the fantasy had been. After a few moments of silence, face still burning hot, he held up his hand and extended a pinky finger to her. "Tell me."

Cleaning off the bar top of the bar in the club house, Eden's mind was flooded with thoughts. Noami was gone. She should leave, she should get on a train and never come back. Her bag was packed, she'd packed it three days ago, but she couldn't leave. As the door creaked open, the reason she coudln't leave walked through the door. She expected someone to follow him, but when they didn't she knew he was here to see her. She'd been trying to distract him from all the chaos that had been happening, often that's been through some sort of sexual act, or getting drunk together. "Hey," she spoke softly, scanning his body language and overall mood. "Need another top up from this morning?" she smirked, knowing teasing him may not be the best course of action, but she hoped it would at least get a gruff of amusement, or event better a half smile.

"Anyone who would voluntarily get an epi-pen and a trip to the hospital is delusional." She admitted, feeling proud that she'd dodged the question enough she didn't have to fully lie to him. She wasn't ready to reveal her true dream, since unlike his, it absolutely would never come true. He didn't need to know the troubled upbringing she had, a revolving door of a father and a drug addict of a mother who would rather shoot up and live on the streets than be her mother. "Hmm," she hummed, "I could get on board with that, where exactly would you want to leave your first hickey?" she smirked. Analyzing his face, she gasped as he turned red, "Kade!" she whined, laughing at his complaint. Chloe couldn't help but smile as the two of them each found their way of teasing the other. She liked to make him squirm and blush with invasive questions and he could easily make her forget her whereabouts with his lip and hand placements on her skin. Chloe kissed the top of his head, "Was I the girlfriend in this scenario?" she teased. "Natural progression considering I'm living with you right now." she chuckled lightly. "Oh my god, Kade." She laughed placing her hands on his cheeks and leaning his head up to look at her. "Being adorable is my thing," she chuckled. "But really, was I your girlfriend in your fantasy?" She pressured again, "What was I doing in this fantasy? Was I naked? Were you picturing my hand instead of yours?" She laughed lightly as she badgered him with questions she knew would make his cheeks burn red. "You know I could reveal one of my own secrets, all you have to do is pinky swear."
"I don't know. Something less tangible. Because, technically, you could taste peanut butter. You'd just need an epi-pen and a trip to the hospital, right? Dangerous but do-able." He wouldn't suggest she actually do it but it was possible. "That's still disgusting, I don't care." The idea of peanut butter salad dressings was putting him off the food entirely, if he were being honest. "I could always leave one where nobody will see it." It seemed that ever since Chloe had given him permission to touch her that he'd gotten more and more comfortable with the idea of affection. It wasn't approached awkwardly at all. It'd been less than an hour and he was ready to kiss her whenever the urge came. His last concern was what the makeup lady would say, he rarely got too deep into her gossip but he did know that she was curious about Chloe, always asking why such a pretty girl wasn't seeing someone. Usually Kade just rolled his eyes and told her Chloe was busy. It was true. About to argue about why he hadn't closed the door he dropped it immediately when she asked what he had been thinking about. Cheeks burned bright red and he tried to hide it by burying his face into her shoulder. Kade wasn't usually so easily embarrassed but how did he explain to her what had gotten him to that point? "I don't like this line of questioning." Funny how it was easier to do the deed than discuss the topic. "I've never had anyone live with me before," he mumbled into the shirt she was wearing. "And I was thinking about if it were my girlfriend... what might happen." If she were his girlfriend, if he was being specific, but he didn't go too deep into details. He definitely didn't grasp her pinky either, already ready to explode from embarrassment. "No way! I've said enough."

Her eyes glued on the man with a blue baseball cap, walking towards the first security checkpoint. She didn't hear his first question, "What?" she whispered but didn't pay any attention to Brock, she just continued to stare. Finally her husband stepped into her view, she felt like she'd woken from a curse, acknowledging Brock in front of her. "What?" she asked again looking at her husband. "N-no, it's not that." she told him, grabbing his forearm as she looked back for the man. What was he wearing? Where is he? "It's-" her eyes scanned the security line, "there," she gripped his arm tighter. "the man who broke in. He's here." Remembering that fearful evening and seeing him further ahead in line was making her relive it all over again. Specifically when he pressed a loaded gun to her head, she subconsciously gripped her husband tighter at he memory and the lonely feeling that followed while waiting for Brock to fly home. It required many therapy sessions to feel comfortable alone in her home without Brock or her cousin driving over or Brody being around to 'fix' a few things around the house. "There," she pointed at the security check point. "blue baseball cap."

Brock knew that Meghan wasn't the biggest fan of flying, and since it was their honeymoon he knew he could splurge on some nicer seats to make them both comfortable. The last thing he wanted was for her to be uncomfortable the whole plane ride since their honeymoon could officially begin once they landed. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and chuckled as he gently pulled her forward so they could continue to go through security. "C'mon are you getting excited?" Brock said with a smile as he shrugged his shoulders and gave her another smile. While he was trying to build up the both of their excitement, he couldn't help but notice how white Meghan's face became. He looked around the airport and tried to follow her eyes as they continued to move through security. "Are you okay babe?" He muttered as he wrapped an arm around her waist and moved so he could catch her eyes. It seemed like she was in a state of panic, but couldn't tell the full reason why. "... We don't have to fly if you don't want to, we can figure something else out." He muttered.

Hearing what he'd muttered shot a pang of hurt in her chest, looking at him feeling so defeated, it broke her heart. This wasn't the version of her best friend who left for college. Spencer gently grabbed his shoulder, so he would look at her. "Why aren't you fighting this?" She was outraged that he was giving up on their dream, well, his dream in the end. The vision was that they'd be going to college together, she never told him that she'd been rejected from every school she applied to. She couldn't admit that she failed him, so she lied to him instead. She pulled out and told him, her brother begged her to help with his business. "We worked too fucking hard for you to not finish this close to graduating." She yelled, feeling tears threaten to escape. "Why are you hiding this? I don't understand why you won't ask anyone for help? You've spent three years working up to this, and you're just okay with letting it all go down the drain?" Spencer looked at him with tearful eyes expecting an answer.
Tumblr media
"And what are you going to do about it Spence?" Tommy said as he followed her to the back of the cab. He had instant regret the minute the door closed and he heard her tell the driver his brother's address. If she was going to tell him everything, he had no choice but to head home. Whatever plan she had in her head, he didn't want any part of. "I just shouldn't have told you." He muttered with a small shrug as he looked out the window.

"What did you expect?" she countered in a way to avoid really answering his question. No, that wasn't all, she doesn't care about tasting peanut butter. "It's an ingredient in the dressings," she corrected. Chloe gave him a look, "That is not the point I am trying to make and you know it." She hated when her co-workers tried to get personal with her, tried to pry about her dating life especially. Kade's make up artist in particular seemed to like to pry the most, maybe because her job is to cover up any physical evidence. Chloe always groaned when needed to accompany Kade to the make up trailer, she usually drops him off to avoid any conversation. "Alright, well you still could have closed the door." she pointed out, then a thought dawned on her. "What were you picturing when starting jerking off?" they'd been living together for almost a week at this point. She knows he hasn't seen many people. "You didn't have your phone, so you weren't watching porn..." she hoped she'd caught him thinking of her, but if not, she was curious what gets him hard. She mocked a scoff, "You're going to withhold your imaginations of me, but expect me to spill mine of you? You realize how hypocritical that is?" Chloe stared at him expectedly. "No, you didn't make me feel weird. You were a good boy, almost too good. I didn't know if you were going to throw me out when I stood there." She adjusted her head on the pillow, "Alright, I'll tell you a fantasy if you tell me one of yours." she looked at him and pulled her pinky out awaiting for him to grasp it in agreement. "Deal?"
"Adorable and ridiculous." It's an easy enough compromise to make. The answer to his question surprised him. Not because he didn't know she was allergic, he'd been warned, but because it seemed so simple. "That's all?" Kade supposed since he knew the greatness of peanut butter that he couldn't question her too hard on the desire. "People put peanut butter in salads? That's disgusting." Of course Kade kept his food on the plain side so he'd never do that. Anything too crazy was questionable and questionable had him tearing things apart more than he normally did. It was just easier to keep it simple. "Yeah, so? I'll join in so I'll never be suspected." He had to laugh when she got up to inspect her neck for hickeys. "You stopped me before I could do any real damage!" At some point he'd get her, maybe when she least expected it. He definitely had a goal now. When Chloe climbed back into the bed Kade pulled up the blankets to get comfortable underneath them. If he wanted to sleep or just cuddle with her he didn't know but he wanted to be comfortable while doing it. "Never shameful. I'm interested in knowing more about the innocent though..." The rest he could imagine but innocent wasn't what he'd thought of at all. "In my defense, I didn't think you'd be back yet and I didn't exactly get in the bath intending to jerk off it just happened. Can't say I expected a hot girl to climb in with me." It had been wild, a fantasy really. "Mmm, nope. Those are my private thoughts, young lady. But, I mean, come on... you're hot. We work together all the time. It's kind of natural that I'd think about it at least once, right? I was a good boy though and I never said a word or made you feel weird or anything. Or at least I tried. I didn't make you feel weird ever, did I?"

"I think I'm adorable," she bounced back throwing him a wink. "Hm?" she hummed in question. What she wanted flashed in her mind but she knew it was not the topic for right now. "Peanut butter," she lied, well fibbed. It is something she'll never be able to experience, but it doesn't truthfully answer his question. "Everyone goes on about how good it is, people use it for everything, salads, smoothies, or curry. I'll never know," she shrugged, smiling gently in his direction hoping she played it off. She chuckled a moan, "You better not have," she quickly got up from the bed to peak in the mirror. "You know full well, I'll be bombarded with questions." she spoke as she investigated in the mirror. Not seeing too much, though these things often develop. Shutting off the light, she climbed back onto the bed, "You're evil you know that?" she got comfortable, intertwining her legs with his. "I can't even get you back, cause no one would bat an eye." she groaned, then narrowed her eyes at him. "You're going to make it really hard to act accordingly aren't you?" she looked at him skeptically. She studied him for a moment, assessing his reasoning and relaxed at his admitting he'd thought about them. "I'm a planner, I plan." she replied. "But yeah, I've thought about it. I've thought about a love of things, both shameful and innocent." She blushed lightly, thinking over how this all starter, "You still are. You were the one touching yourself with the door open." she smiled lightly. "I'm just a girl who's body responded." she chuckled leaning in to press her lips against his. "I want to know in what capacity you thought of me," she smile feeling a little giddy.
"You're ridiculous." He couldn't stop the little laugh that left him. Despite her claim of being an angel he still expected nothing. But her question about what he really wanted did spark curiosity. "What about you?" Licking his bottom lip, he searched her face as if it would tell him what she desired most. "What's some unreachable thing you would want if you could have it?" A lot of the time Kade was easy to read but he didn't really find that to be true of Chloe. Maybe she was and he just wasn't looking in the right places. Or maybe he was just too preoccupied with himself. "Mm, no. I was just gonna leave a fat hickey so all your friends can ask you about it." He was terrible but she had to know that already. Nobody had to know it was his mark left behind. Could be an absolute stranger for all anyone else knew. Chloe's question was not what he expected to hear and he cocked his head to one side trying to figure out if he had a reason for asking. "I don't know. 'Cause you seemed to know what you wanted. I thought I was the impulsive one." It wasn't to make fun of her. That thought hadn't even crossed his mind. "I've thought about it before, just didn't think it would actually happen."

I had been resisting and pushing away the notion that apple earbuds were the only way to go. I tried a few others from Costco and every single pair has broken within a matter of weeks. I now am an Airpods owner and I hate to admit that the quality is pretty insane.
