Im sure youve noticed by the full 3 months of me not logging in to tumblr,but ive caved in to @staff 's torture.

I've moved on to twitter.

After 7 years of patronage to this hellhole of a website,ive experienced so much joy from this place that its gonna be hard to put it into words in a simple and direct way,but ill try my best not to clog up your dashboard.

7 years ago i started using this website,not even having an account,reading a funny brazilian account that had a lot of anime memes.

After a few weeks i created a tumblr account,not my first try at having a blog,but it didnt take long for me to like this platform more than any other.

So i started slowly trying to reblog posts in english,even though i barely knew a few words.

After a lot of meme reblogging,i ran into homestuck,and like most popular things,i tried my best to avoid it until i eventually caved in and tried reading it.

I fell in love with its humor,and the fandom was really fun,so i quickly learned english through exposure and suddenly i was reading homestuck every single day to the point where i was feeling dizzy from exhaustion.

Before i knew it i made tons of internet friends,made my first best friends from another country,and got so good at speaking english that i got to the point where i could be considered fluent.

And to this day,this is one of my biggest accomplishments,and its all hugely thanks to tumblr.

But now,with the whole censorship scandal this site has become a desert landscape,and so many of my favorite artists moved on to twitter.

So to twitter i went. And there i will stay.

Did i mention that i finally gave up on my stupid fear of not being able to show my social media to random people? Because my twitter is now full of glorious nsfw content that ive spent 7 years avoiding on tumblr.

Ive even considered making an alternate account for nsfw content,and i even went as far as preparing the groundwork by changing my emergency extra tumblr account name and icon,but after much thought i said: FUCK IT

My account,my rules.

So yea,dont expect me to ever come back to this shithole unless its to reminisce about good ol' times. And dont forget to follow me on twitter @luc4ri0tumblr .

If you still have hope this social media is worth it,dont,tumblr staff or whoever owns it do not deserve your patronage,just move on and create your safe place somewhere else.
