hello all, i am a black jewish woman from portugal.

my family and i need help. due to severe mental illness, i was forced to drop out of middle school, which heavily impacts my ability to get a job. i am looking yo finish school so that i can be employed. my mother works, but her salary isn't nearly enough for the price of our rent, let alone other expenses. if i were to earn minimum wage, we would still not be able to afford everything we need.

we make do with help from my grandfather's retirement money, which is not a lot, and though it helps us a bit, it leaves my grandfather without money.

my little sister (pictured above with me) is 7 years old, and dealt with hearing diffficulties for the first few years of her life, which led to developmental problems. we cannot afford for her to get regular speech therapy. i myself have not been attending therapy as we cannot afford it.

i had previously made a gofundme to help me escape my household, due to extreme family tension from clashes between my maternal and paternal families that was too much for me to handle, mentally. that tension has now ceased, and i now ask for your help to keep me and my family afloat.

I've been debating on whether or not to make a donation post since I have Incredible Shame™ but seeing as I'm now apparently able to get more than 6,000 notes on a post I think it's worth a shot. So the short of the matter is this: I'm a nb black gay person from Louisiana whose looking to eventually go back to school full-time to study math and biophysics, but I have a some loans that I need to pay off before I'm able to do so. Also just like in general any help that anyone is able to give is much appreciated. This isn't like dire or anything so don't feel panicked but I would like to set a goal of about $4,000.00 by next July 2021.

What I can offer: I'm a math major, so I'm able to offer math tutoring ($20hr) and homework help/solutions ($15hr or $15 per page for solutions).
