A Self Harm Poem I wrote my-self

Each scar has a meaning, 

Each cut as a story, 

You see them and you laugh, 

You don’t realize it,

But your the reason why.

You may forget what you said, 

But I don’t, 

Every time I look in the mirror, 

I hear your voice, 

Calling out those hurtful words, 

That are stuck in my head, 

Like a bad song n replay. 

So each scar does have a meaning, 

They remind me of exactly what you said, 

And they keep me from putting someone else, 

In the same position I have been through, 

Hurt by those words of abuse.
