Ally’s Entries 13

May 1st - 5th

uhhhh, Thistle n' Threads, Thistle's Threads, whatever it's called is open. May Day Maze, uh.......... Petal came around a few times. Saharah once today. Um. Paid my house off. Gonna get more storage. Sold a bunch of items that I can repurchase later down the road...

Project K is as slow as ever, and I can't seem to keep up with myself. Sorry. Only so much a Hedgehog can do when she's more accustomed to things like battling and such. I fall short on more mundane tasks so it's been running circles around me!

Nothing particularly bad to note except for getting an oh-so-original recipe from Chops, who used to be creep. Moved in too close, trampled my garden back in Skylite, and all just to get in my space. No thanks. Never again. I'm glad he moved out and I'm hanging around better people anyway.

Ally’s Entries 12

April 29th and 30th

This is getting really hard for me to commit to, and is eating at me. I'm just not made for habits like this and I don't know how anyone else does it. Writing about things near-daily and all. I think it's distracting me more than actually helping me.

I might try this a little longer, maybe until we see Project K through, and then just wrap things up. I'm not sure.

Anyway, my wishing on the 28th seemed to result in lots and lots of star fragments the following day, and among them some kind of... Taurus Fragment? I'm not sure what that is, but it had a nice green glow to it!

All of these have since been stored, of course...

That's not all, Tammi had been contemplating moving since our silly stardom conversation. I didn't think she was actually serious, so it came as a bit of a shock. She just moved here within the recent weeks, after all, and seemed very happy with us. We did talk it over, though, and she reconsidered for the time being.

Makes me worry, though, maybe I'm not pulling my weight enough on Dreamscape. But with all the migraines I keep getting from stressing over little things, there's only so much I can do at times.

We also had a visitor by the name of CJ, who's really into fishing and challenges! Seems to have an online presence, too, though I can't say I knew. He also mentioned having a partner who enjoys making collectibles of his findings, and was incredibly proud of said partner's work. Iwonder who they are, or what he means by partner? He seemed to light up when mentioning them!

I partook in maybe one of his challenges, but the collectible aspect completely slipped me! Maybe next time, right?

The campsite was also busy, we had a camper by the name of Violet, though she seemed disinterested in settling down on the island.

As for the 30th, which was yesterday, I had to step out of Dreamscape for a time, but I did stop by later in the night to see Thistle again! This time, she asked me to assist her in setting up a plot for her shop, and I chose a nice strip of grass by the sea- so I really hope she likes it and look forward to checking her future wares when things are completed~

Nothing else thus far, really, I'm just juggling the island with other things best I can. I am in the hero-gig, after all, so I tend to be places!

Ally’s Entries 11

April 28th

I've been pacing myself, but no guarantee I'll get everything down.

Doesn't hurt to try anyway, routine isn't my strongsuit and I'd like to build upon it, so I'm at least continuing to write!

Sahara was in town today, and I bought some of their wares.

I also had to sort my furniture and figure out what to sell, it turns out that it all net me 50k, which further helps towards paying my house off and clears space in my storage for the time being!

I also caught wind of a rather silly conversation between Phoebe and Tammi! Phoebe was wondering why she settled in Dreamscape if she's more of a city gal (Phoebe's own assumption, really), and Tammi thought the question was ridiculous- since she wants to be the star to help with Dreamscape's reputation and feels being an "island girl" will jumpstart her career! What more, she wanted Phoebe and I to help her with a magazine debut, hahaha!

Phoebe looked absolutely nervous about that kind of idea, especially when I jestfully enabled Tammi further! I don't know if any of us would commit, anyhow, so our Phoenix is safe- I promise!

Celeste was also out tonight, and we had some pleasant conversation about constellations and their stories.

Lastly, I'm kind of concerned about the number of times I've stepped out in my night clothes... everyone's treating it like my signature look! Even Colton, who knows better! I'm not one to be embarassed about night clothes or wearing them around, but if that's the conclusion or impression I'm giving off- then yes. Yes I AM embarassed. I'd really like to correct them on that, so I have to remember to change before trekking outdoors from here on...

(Also, it is to note that I went to wish on stars in my Lunar, and Tammi has also caught sight of that as well now. Probably inspired her, since she asked me what she should wear next! Aiiee... )

Ally’s Entries 10

April 27th

Uhhh, so, It's a little fuzzy now. I think we celebrated the renovation that was made to the Museum, and Blathers was beyond thankful to everyone in attendance. We also celebrated the other bridge, who someone must have paid off the donations while I was out of commission the other day or so. I kind of wish I knew who, so I could properly thank them, especially after I'd worn myself silly over it the way I had!

Alfonso afterwards was in a good mood and wanted to play a game of treasure-hunting, which I was totally down for! He set the timer for maybe three minutes, which had me scrambling throughout the whole island for it- turns out, it was a table lamp! He let me keep it for finding it within the time limit he set, haha~

Gulliver had also washed up again, broken phone and all, so I recovered the pieces again so he could get in touch with his crew.

It's also been a delight to get to know Rhonda, she's very collected and sweet, and very patient with me... which at present makes quite a contrast to how annoyed Sandy seems with me. I'm beginning to think she does not like my company, and I don't want to start anything either, but I sure wish she would tell me outright. I know what boundaries are and can respect them if only I know what those are, first!

I'm getting distracted, that'll be sorted out with time!

Rhonda and I are learning about the other at a good pace, and she's stated she'd even like to learn some apple-based recipes and chimed that I could be her taste-tester for those. And Honestly?? SIGN ME UP. PLEASE!! I CAN'T COOK FOR THE LIFE OF ME SO I'D REALLY LOVE THAT AAAAAAAAA

Not to say I'd leave it all to her though, I can help with various tasks around the kitchen a little. I'll just blow it to ashes if I try any cooking or baking.

She's been sociable towards others as well, and has even done some singing in the plaza!

Colton's been doing great as well, he's taken to Dreamscape VERY fast, and I was witness to him and Alfonso talking about their respective mother's cooking! It was cute to see them go on like that, though I could hardly tell if it was reminiscing, or flexing, hahaha~

Finally, although nothing else in particular stands out, I'm no longer dead-broke, and am going to be working on paying off my current debt to Nook! Things are looking up~

Ally’s Entries 8

April 24th

Yesterday was a lot to take in. Colton was finally unpacking from boxes in a house of his own, worried about finishing in a timely fashion- and I had to reassure him there was really no rush. Time isn't really of the essence here in Dreamscape, but I guess I failed to take my own advice to heart!

I was rushing here and there to raise some funds for the next bridge, which I'd failed to donate the full amount to that day... and most of said day was spent island-hopping. I was really doing this to help Nook with his Project K, but it never hurt to stock up on supplies, right?

Wrong. My storage is full AGAIN, and most of the people I met island to island were not interested in Dreamscape (until maybe the last island). True, there were some good points, I found an island full of bamboo- and was quick to harvest them for later use. Some of my DIYs stored on my NookPhhone seem to require it, so that may be worth looking into.

I'll have to, anyway, Dreamscape's present rating is 1 star- and I'll have to work to improve that soon.

Gulliver also washed ashore, and I had to prod him awake... he's seemed to come to terms with the fact he falls off-board his ship, and also has a phone of his own! It was very damaged, though, and was missing a few parts... Turns out they were scattered amongst the sand, and we had to clean them off and figure out if it would still work!

Thankfully, it did, and he sent a message to his crew to come pick him up. He was pacing hours after that, so I really hope they have.

Also, although I certainly wasn't trying for it, I found some really cool catches for the Museum! A Blue Marlin, a Surgeon fish, and a Coelacanth- all of which I look forward to donating at the next opportunity

lastly, I was stung by a wasp... Phoebe thought I got involved in a brawl, too, must have looked BAD- but when she realized it was a sting that absolutely sent her. She did hope I'd treat it when I could, though- and while I initially intended to take care of it later I'd run into Tammi! Turns out, she always has medicine on her, and handed me some to take for it.

The Night however, was far less eventful... Truth be told, while Dreamscape and the faces that reside here have been very lovely and kind... I've been feeling rather alone. Maybe an Island Getaway isn't as much an escape from that as I'd thought. There are people in my life that I miss, dearly, and they're just. Not... here...

I may or may not have cried myself to sleep, it's nothing all that personal so I really don't want anyone to feel bad, should they catch on... It's really just me. I Promise.
