it's so interesting to watch Natalie be the voice of reason about Javi's disappearance. cautiously trying to remind Travis how long it's been since he disappeared, how unlikely it is he'd survive in the weather conditions. Natalie who shares knowing looks and whispered exchanges with Ben about how she knows Javi isn't alive, but Travis... and then twenty-five years later Travis kills himself and suddenly it's Natalie in his shoes unwilling to admit the likely story is the true story, Natalie going out every day to search for Travis' killer with an enthusiastic but increasingly skeptical Misty in tow. and I wonder how much of it is regret over how wrong she ended up being about Javi. and I wonder how much of it is just the blinding delusion of love we're all capable of when it's our world that will be shattered by the particular truth we can't face that everyone else has already accepted.

hey guys !! so yesterday i finally received my binder full of original yellowjackets scripts (episodes 1.05-1.10), and now i’ve started the process of scanning the scripts in their entirety and uploading them to google drive so everyone can read them. there are deleted scenes & revisions included & it’s super cool !!

when 23 year olds say “im getting old” cause they get excited by mundane things…for the love of. we used to get excited by BOXES as toddlers. maybe we’re just reverting to our childlike joy did u ever think about THAT.

the thing that hurt jackie the most was her own optimism and how much she had faith in shauna, even during their lowest point.

before the crash she always assumed shauna was okay with her always including her in everything she does; joining the team, choosing a college, etc. that she would understand how it's her way of telling her "I want you there with me" when all this time shauna has been resenting her for feeling like an accessory, a shadow. but shauna never said otherwise, so she must be okay with it, right?

and then, after finding out about the pregnancy, she still tried to be understanding; telling the team that shauna needs medical attention, telling her so softly that it's not time to keep secrets, giving shauna all the time in the world to tell her the truth so she could forgive her. even in her dying moments, right after shauna crossed every line between them, she still dreamed of shauna, just coming out to get her inside and telling her she's sorry. because surely shauna wasn't going to let her freeze to death after an argument like that, feeling unloved and betrayed by the people she loved the most, right?

one of my favourite things about jackieshauna is how you go into the first episode with this perception that it’s an unrequited love (shauna being in love with jackie and jackie not loving her back). but as you keep watching their relationship develop, you start to see that perception unravel and you start to see how desperate and deep and all-consuming jackie’s love for shauna is. shauna was jackie’s entire universe. she was everything. and i just find it brilliant how jackie alters every stereotype you would assume about her based on your first look at her
