That is because, people are more drawn to their gadgets and to the internet, which puts Social Media at an advantage. Which brings its own advantages and disadvantages. The good thing is, it has become more convenient for us to communicate, to transact financially, to gather information, or even gaming. It also keeps us timely with the different things happening around us. However, the media has become a source for addiction. Because social media has changed the way we communicate, and the way we perceive things. Everyone feels like they are entitled to express their opinion, rather, exercise their freedom of speech at all times. Now placing judgement such as commenting, reacting, and sharing has become easier. Through this we are also more prone to fake news, scams, catfishing and etc.
