ANON, WELCOME TO THE FIRST CIRCLE OF HELL: MY MIND.

Currently, the main occupants of my mind are the duos and the characters that make up said duos that you mention. These are from a roleplay server I am on. (As the characters take their names from all the people who play them, I will not say their names just in case.)

The roleplays roughly stem from games of mafia, as well as everyone's own lore that they add in. There's a huge variety of characters but I'll just talk about the ones you've asked about.

Bones duo is comprised of a shapeshifter (who technically isn't a shapeshifter, they can turn into any animal but they're a different species from another world), who is tens of thousands of years old and incredibly wise and also anxious and grieving entire worlds and capable of horrific murder, and their (effectively) platonic soulmate, a walking, talking, clothing-wearing skeleton who is a massive asshole to everybody except said shapeshifter. They are both very murderous and generally don't like mortals, but the shapeshifter has (relatively) positive relationships with much of the cast. Meanwhile the skeleton has negative relationships with almost ALL of the rest of the cast.

However the bond they have with each other is SO LOVING. They care about each other SO MUCH and they are both so afraid of burdening or hurting the other despite the length of time they've known each other. This is partly to do with the nature of the world they are stuck in: it's a timeloop where there are games of mafia. If you know mafia, you know that they have to decide whether or not they kill each other quite a lot of the time. Usually, they just kill someone else, and they rarely blame the other, even if they're guilty. They have angsty angsty fights and incredibly fluffy moments and sometimes they do things that are straight up ethereal. I love them.

Braid duo is comprised of a shapeshifter deer hybrid (it can take the form of a human, a deer hybrid, or a deer, and since very recent events, can also turn into a falcon and falcon hybrid) who is in a tragic polycule (the polycool, which is its whole own story), and my character, a human who was, until a little while ago, cartoon-y. Currently they are happily in romantic gay T4T love, but their relationship has been a rollercoaster at times.

First, a while ago when my character was still cartoon-y, making funny little pop ups (little cartoon hearts, exaggerated blushes, stars around her head when she's dizzy etc), they met outside of a game for the first time and my character got an instant crush. They got to know each other over time and the deer shapeshifter eventually learnt of my character's feelings for it, and initially did not feel the same. However, my character ended up conspiring with another character (an icy winged person) to get revenge on the person who started the timeloops in a deal with a demon, who just happens to be one of the deer hybrid's partners. My character lied to the deer, but the deer thought the truth was being revealed to her and started to fall for her in return. AND THEN she found out about the lie and STABBED THE SHIT OUT OF HER and my character died in its kitchen. when she came back to life she was pissed but she still loved the deer and after a lot of thought and tentative displays of trust they got to know each other more and started hanging out. and then the deer asked her to be her girlfriend and she said yes and now they are in gay polyamorous t4t love.

they both still feel extremely guilty sometimes and they're both afraid of hurting the other but they've grown to trust and love each other so much. theyre also very gay and have made out passionately in multiple rp channels. and. now they have a common enemy: the skeleton. They've both been attacked by him and in the deer's case, been murdered by him. I can't wait to see what they do about that next. I love them.

Bam is a romantic duo comprised of the one who started the loops- an avian knight who remembers very little of sun's old world, and a prince/spirit medium who was protected by said knight, and remembers more of that world. they both know that they've been in love since before they ended up in the mafia world. They love each other a lot!! But they're both pretty insecure about themselves. The prince worries a lot that the knight will stop loving them, or that he will somehow make himself unlovable. The knight is really guilty about starting the loops and the pain xe's put xer loved ones into, and makes a lot of impulsive decisions. sun is not exactly good at preserving their own life. (btw, bam is a portmanteau of the names of these two characters.)

theyve had a couple of significant events happen to them recently: first, they got engaged!!! woo!! the prince worked up the courage to propose, and the knight said yes!! most (not all) of the town is happy for them. second, the prince, while trying to make a potion, ended up making a massive burn on his own face and felt awful about himself. he was so worried about how the knight would respond, but the knight reassured him.

also, the prince sometimes gets possessed by the dead. a while ago he got possessed by his mean older brother and the knight ended up having to kill him. they've been through a lot but they are really really sweet. I love them.
