Do you feel like you've gotten used to where you are now? I lived in London for a bit a couple years ago and I remember it taking some time to get used to my new normal. It's almost similar to the school year with summers off. What do you think you'd want to do once you aren't playing anymore? Of course, you'll have a nice, long career and get to accomplish everything with what you do now, but for the future!

It really is. Haha. I know that was how I was feeling. I am used to that time off. I mean for some people if they aren't chosen for their country when the international breaks happen, they pretty much have some time off, although there would be training. Its been a while since I haven't got called up though. When we do get an actual break so we can go away on holiday, we do make the most of that.

Someday, when everyone else is super unprepared, we'll be able to survive. Bill would be the perfect addition to the team, so yes, one hundred percent. He's the king of horror in my heart and I'm glad he's tossing me in to random conversations that are right up my alley. I feel like our team needs t-shirts or a team name or something, but I'm the worst at deciding on shit like that.

ari: and existing in the gray is tough when you feel like it should just be one or the other. i empathize with you hardcore on that. don't be sorry!! i love getting #deep, would go there with you anytime ari: i so get you. i was so internally stressed about it, because she's her and i'm me, and that still kinda worms its way into my brain when i think about it too long and too hard. but it's all just exciting enough to not let that stress weigh me too far down! ari: that's the worst phase of the breakup honestly. at least when youre sad, you can just think about being sad. but when you're over the roughest parts of it, you just feel lost and that can feel WORSE than feeling sad. my biggest help was always trying to either rekindle hobbies that i havent had time for, start new hobbies, pour myself into work if i'm really desperate. but also just knowing that the hardest part is over will hopefully give you a little bit of brightness 🔅

Moving somewhere brand new is always a fun mix of terrifying and exhilarating! So, you're used to having a couple months off, but that's really it. I feel like I would lose my mind! Do you have any smaller breaks during the season or is it pretty much all football all the time? I imagine you guys would have to be training and doing other things to keep you on the right schedule so it'd be almost impossible to take too many real breaks.

It really is. I can't say I had been there much before I moved there. Yes, you could say that. But it isn't always like that. If there isn't a international tournament like the Euros or the World Cup going on then we are pretty much off between May and August. Oh, I find time. Haha. I can imagine you would after that.

I totally get what you mean! I've been lucky enough to work with some incredible people and that excitement of it never goes away. We do. Though I'm also a person who sees things both ways. That sometimes those shitty experiences bring us to where we are and can teach us things, but sometimes, we didn't deserve it and it's bullshit it happened, you know? It can be a mix sometimes. So many people! It's the genre I've probably done most and people have no shame in telling me they hate it. An amazing choice!

Working with your heroes is everything - I've loved performing with Foo Fighters and any time I get to work with Billie Eilish is so magical. I feel very lucky. Yeah, but we live and learn from those moments, don't we? Of course. Who doesn't love horror? My favorite movie is American Psycho. Has been since it came out.

What's your favorite genre to watch?

Shit, this is hard. I tend to fluctuate through different moods and don't really have a consistent favorite. Sometimes I feel like being scared shitless, but other times, I wanna just watch something super dramatic and have a solid cry. So maybe this means there is no actual answer?
